I'm still having to catch up slowly so I am not ignoring you all.
Busy, busy as ever I see. I will join in your good news re that famous frozen food place.
Great prices and a wide range of choices.
T'Bird is probably having a soak in a hot tub - don't stay in too long T'Bird. You (and I) cannot afford to get any smaller!
Debs, if you look in, have a wnderful week.
Hazel, I believe you have our litle live wire round at yours today. Hope he doesn't tire you out too much!
Yvie I do hope you can get out into your garden this weekend. Think I might have a go depending on the weather.

Good to hear your eyes have improved @Ladybird4

As I'm home alone until tomorrow, I foresee periods of dozing in the CA whilst sport is on the TV this afternoon ;)

    Morning LB and Rubee.

LB, it's so nice to hear that your eyes are better. Regarding seeds, I sowed yesterday some veggies and flowers. Don't worry, it was all inside work, and simply couldn't stay whole day in the bed.

Morning all. Been a bit cooler here over night, have had to get the Kersher out this morning. Ante, sorry to hear you're getting the flu. Poor you, that's no joke at all. Look after yourself and follow above advise!
23 coming in a bit so need to get sorted out. He's picked up a phrase recently, that he is forever saying....when anyone say thank you for something, he always replies " You're welcome"....it sounds really cute out the mouth of a 5yr  yr old🤭
    Catch you later.

Morning all. It's a rather grey and very wet day in N Germany so I don't think we'll be going too far. A day of reading, transcibing a few wills, puzzle books and movies beckons.

Lovely day yesterday - the sauna was very goid for such a small town. It was cold and sunny and great for wandering around the garden between different sauna huts and rest huts. The saline pools were pleasantly warm and good for soaking. My skin feels soft this morning.

LB - glad your eyes are a little better this morning.

Ante - keep warm & plenty of fluids for you.

Hazel - enjoy your time with the family.

    Good morning all,

It’s a lovely bright day but chilly, we’ve had a touch of frost in the night.

Glad that your eyes seem a little clearer today @Ladybird4, fingers crossed for continued improvement.

Keep warm today @Ante1 and rest as much as possible - these nasty viruses really take it out of you.

It sounds as if you are having a good time in Germany @Topbird, a very relaxing time.

Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Good morning all. Gorgeous sunny morning here crisp and cold. Off for a walk with sister and her dog in a bit then got assorted children and grandchildren here later for food and drink all supplied by them. Lovely day to look forward to.
@Ante1 wrap up warmlots of fluids and eat whatever you fancy. Get better soon.
@Topbird Germany sounds wonderful my idea of a holiday away from all the crowds but enjoying the scenery and facilities with someone special.
@Ladybird4 pleased to hear your sight is no worse fingers crossed the tests are productive of a solution and not too unpleasant.
@Songbird-2 have fun with little one grandchildren are so much fun aren’t they?
Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday

    Morning all.

    Sunny here too.

Glad your sight is improving LB.

Sorry to hear you aren't well @Ante1, hope you feel better soon.

    Have a lovely holiday @Topbird.

We went to our village church this morning to find that the usual 11am service had been changed to 9.30am. It used to be monthly but the rector left so it's 2 monthly. I looked at the website 2 or 3 weeks ago and it said 11am. We met the curate outside the church, he had come to do the service at 11am but he hadn't been told it had changed to 9.30am! The warden rang the vicar at 9.25 when no one had turned up, apart from villagers in the know, and he did the 9.30 service. We usually go to the church in our old village but wanted to support the local one. It's in the local mag but ours hadn't been delivered.

  • Ante hope the flu symptoms will soon subside and you feel rather better.  LB glad to know your eyes are improving and hope can soon be back to normal.  Back from a walk with Dad temps set to fall.  Biglad enjoy the sport and hope your family will soon be back.
