  • Had a text a few minutes ago from No.3 unstepson. 'Watch out for a green tractor going past soon'. Clearly he doesn't trust my tractor ID skills despite having a John Deere lawnmower.
I said 'Toot. I'm in bed'.
Of course I got up to wave (eejit that I am).
    Well tooooooooot he did! 🤣

Driving home from the supermarket run this pm had to do a wide swing past a strange object - who knew the French love their C5's?

The day after Clive Sinclair died a whole convoy went past our house.  Must have been about 30 of them and we live on a rural lane in a hamlet between 3 villages so heaven knows where they'd been lurking.

Always liked the idea of a C5, but never had the guts to own one - and.be driving amongst faster, larger vehicles, whose drivers don't seem to care about anyone.
But we do see quite a number of these e-scooters, as well as mobility buggies. On road and pavement. Some go really fast, and are so quiet.

I actually saw somebody using one of the legal e-scooters on the road yesterday, which is the lone place they can be used legally.  They looked absolutely terrified.

One of our friends (and his wife!) in their 70's have just done 1700 miles around Spain in his 1930's Austin 10 including 2 mountain ranges. They always were nutters!

Grateful rather than cheerful that the jet stream didn't move sooner. A few days of this heat is more than enough!

@Hostafan1 … beware of earthquakes … Tenerife had ten smallish  ones the other day … now a ginormous one in Morocco 😨 all part of the same area or whatever they call it!
