  • Evening all,

Happy Birthday @Allotment Boy, nice to have family around you, even if the birthday isn't welcome.

Glad to see @Hostafan1 posting the other day, come back soon!

I'm still in limbo, feeling very fed up with the slow process.... Other troubles too, complicated.

Trying to be cheerful, but all very difficult.

I am meeting Charlie tomorrow for dinner, it's my birthday too, obviously, all the best people have January birthdays 😅 , I'm sure @Dovefromabove will agree.

However, I'll be glad to welcome February and signs of spring, all these cold dark days are thoroughly depressing. We're not going to get above minus one all week.

Take care all, and I do hope I will be back on here soon with more promising news.

Absolutely agree @D0rdogne_Damsel … have a lovely day and enjoy your treat with Charlie. As for all the other ‘stuff’ … here’s a ((hug)) … hope it helps … also a ☕️ and a 🍷 … in whichever order you fancy 😉

Gardening aches … they’ll do you the world of good @Hostafan1 😊

Evening all, don't know where the day went but at least it was slightly warmer and we had sunshine all day. We  both enjoyed a walk down through the orchard and the country lane towards the shops this morning. In the afternoon I started sorting out the airing cupboard junk, I seem to have mountains of old pillowcases and single duvet covers/sheets, they can all go. Also got a mountain of bits of material from my curtain making days so I'll chuck that too. Found a big double sleeping bag and I can't see us going camping ever again.

OH has got the sorting out bug as well and is shredding lots of old paperwork which can go in our compost bins.

Hang on in there @D0rdogne_Damsel, it'll get sorted in the end.

Good to hear you've started gardening again @Hostafan1.

    Evening. Another cold night ahead.

You’ve blown my mind a bit now @Lizzie27 - is a double sleeping bag just a nice roomy bag, or are you supposed to share it??! If it’s the latter, it’s a no from me!

I hope everyone is doing ok.

    Morning all.

No frost here either, @Dovefromabove, (just checking) but it's still cold.

Not sure if we can get out of our drive. They are digging trenches for fibre Internet and we are in the middle of 3 way traffic lights.
