Another wet, non-patio laying day here! Conditions will be perfect on Sunday, I reckon
I took delivery of 3 'trailing' blackberry cascade plants yesterday. Along with a cranberry. I'm not familiar with this type of blackberry but they look a bit upright at the minute!
The text that I received shortly after delivery was 'interesting':-
"We delivered your parcel to a safe place today. We left a card with details. Tell us how we did" I resisted clicking on the link to provide my response. They actually dumped the box on the driveway where anybody walking past could take 3 strides off the pavement, pick up the box and walk off. There was no card. So when I say 'interesting', I actually mean pack of lies
Yes @Biglad Sunday could be the perfect day for flag laying - after all, its not like you will be doing anything special on that day will you?
I do have to agree that your blackberries look rather upright at present but I think you will find that they will trail as they get more mature. As to the delivery.....at least they weren't just lobbed over your back gate. My next door neighbours were informed once that their parcel had been left in their porch. They don't have a porch!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Happy Christmas Eve to you all. Wish you all a wonderful day.
Grey and rainy morning. I done all preparation for Christmas, so I can relax next two days. After short visit to my neighbor I'll go to the cottage and have proper, long walk with Max. Now is time for tea.
Good morning Ante. I remember in past times that great feeling I used to get on the first day of any holiday from school. Such freedom and the ability to choose to do anything I wanted. Enjoy your long walk with Max and take in all the happiness and positivity that dogs always seem to show when out on walks with their owners.

Morning LB, Ante and all to follow. LB I remember too the freedom of the school holidays planning what to do. We used to when very young do jam jar experiments in the shed and keep a log of the various progressions. I’ve had some porridge with honey as a winter warmer and a cup of tea. I’ve been writing a list for Christmas morning for prep. Watched a new drama to me Granite Harbour where a Royal Military Policeman joins the police to train to be a detective. I was awake until around 3am then dozed off and woke at 7am. Hope you all have a good day.

Rosie, your breakfast sound sweet and warm. Good luck with Christmas preparations.
Here is Yours and my Christmas wheat. Let the next year be lavish and abundant for all of us.
You can see on the photo how dark is here this morning.
