Good evening all. I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas. Unfortunately the weather was horrendous here so the trip to Coniston had to be put on hold so we picnicked and mulled wine it in my living room. Plenty of fun times and memories shared with handy brother. T'Bird, now that is what you call a special moment. Two of our quizzers - a married couple - were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and the Red Arrows flew overhead after they had been at an airshow. All their friends were asking how much that little lot had cost!
Thanks to all for your kind birthday wishes. Yes, Biglad, to name a couple, but I'm more pleased to share it with Isaac Newton!

I hope everyone has had a lovely day . Ours has been quiet but enjoyable. No snow ,some rain . We had a pleasant walk at lunch time. Dinner was lovely . I am signing out . Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone .
Evening everyone. Hope today has been a lovely one for everyone. We can't move after our super Christmas Day dinner and no tea needed tonight. 23 had indeed forgotten he'd asked for a chicken, but he's carried it around with him all day, even to the dinner table. Kept saying " I love him" and apparently he's gone up to bed with him too. Bless...... Have a wonderful Boxing Day folks. Night.
It does sound as though we have all had a wonderful time. Hope all is OK with Debs and others in the quiet corner. I am going to sign out too so I'll see you all tomorrow.

I'm glad that all of you had a nice Christmas Day. Here was also peaceful with lots of food and rest. I was awake very early, but outside is completely dark and fog, so it's time for first cup of tea. I'm also going to make corn bread, then later afternoon will go to the cottage and walk. It will be grey with fog, but I don't mind.
I think I quite like December as a month Ante. We can look forward to the preparation and of getting in touch with those friends and distant relatives who we don't see too often. I have many relatives birthdays to celebrate in this month.

Good morning everyone .Ante I do enjoy a walk on Boxing Day .Fingers crossed that the fog lifts and you have a lovely walk .At least you will be able to see where you are going if it lifts π.LB I like December too particularly when we start to get crisp cold days when the sky is clear and the sun is shining.Enjoy Boxing Day folks .
Good morning everyone. I hope you enjoy your walk @Ante1 and that the fog lifts for you. We have blue sky and sunshine here at the moment so I think a walk calls for me too once Iβve had breakfast. I agree, @Ladybird4, the day does pass by so quickly, doesnβt it? Like you, I like December as a month, doing the preparations, seeing family and friends, relaxing.Β
