Good afternoon all. I had a nice catch up with my friend today. It started to get very dark very early so I only stayed about an hour and a half. The roads were quite busy so I was pleased when I finally arrived back on my own drive. No easing in the rain though!
Ante, I am pleased you can now access seeds from here. Which ones have you got on order?
Have a wonderful time with your neighbours Red maple.

Hazel, I'm sorry, I thought that your OH drew it and you will paint later. I see you put all on his shoulders. 😂

Red Maple, maybe you are behind this seller. Please send a good seeds. 🤣

LB, nice that you had a lovely chat with friend. I'm happy because it's impossible here to find all what I need. Two years any kind of seeds transport was forbidden from UK. I bought petunia blue star, mexican giant sunflower, marrow tapir and goldena, cucumber beth alpha and radishes felicia and pink jutrzenka.

I've had a gardening day, but the forecast sun didn't come out until the end of the afternoon. I've weeded and mulched the Jewel Bed and the Terrace Bed.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Wishing all of you a good evening.  Unfortunately I’ve been running a temp so probably an early night but I’ll be awake.  LB thank you for overseeing res and all your messages and all.  We’ve had baked bread and nibbles and relaxing in pjs but I can hear the fireworks already.  Wishing you all a good nights sleep.  Ante I’m glad you’re feeling better.  Night night all.

Ante, that is a huge selection of seeds but I know that you will enjoy growing them all. It is still raining here! Grrr! So jealous of you being able to garden Busy!

Oh Rosie noooooo! I hope the raised temperature doesn't last too long. It is not the perfect of ways to start a new year is it? Not hearing any fireworks here yet though. See you next year Rosie!

Oh Rosie, poor you.  I hope the fever doesn't last long too and that you will soon feel better. This bug seems to be attacking everybody at the moment. Please take good care of yourself, rest up and get plenty of liquids down you. Fingers crossed for you here that whatever it is doesn't last long. Typical it happening on this day.
Ante, I always leave OH to do the hard bits 😂 You are going to have a great time sowing all those seeds and seeing them grow.
We've had a quiet day, it's been raining a lot so decided to take decs down rather than leave it until tomorrow. Just the garden lights to take down tomorrow now. Son has popped in on his way to work, he's on his night shifts now. It was nice to see him and he " first foot" for us even though he was six hours early!
Im going to sign out now, Have a wonderful evening everyone on this last day of 2022. Let's all hope for a good year for us, healthy and peaceful and for others who are less fortunate than us. To good friends 🥂🍻

Someone around here has decided that it is time for some fireworks to be set off.
