Thanks LB. I'm wonder if Jack will still use his glasses after his eye operations?( my dad did eventually).Habit? Doesn't feel right without them? Busy, I read on another thread that you were to start packing and loading up tomorrow. Go steady and all the best for a safe and uneventful journey back to the UK. I'm signing out for today. Night all.
LB, hope Jack will soon have his medication. Nice that you had a New Year drink with him.
Hazel, enjoy tomorrow at GC. We can leave Christmas behind and focus on seeds and spring. I knew I will.
I had a nice day spent mostly with book. I was out only in walk with Max. It was dry, but grey and foggy. I leave my light outside one more day, and they go down on Tuesday before wind, which is forecasted next Wednesday.
I’ve been feeling rather awful all my bones ache and I feel quite horrid. Hopefully it will soon go. Thank you for your good wishes. Happy New Year. I’ve watched all of Strike on iplayer and I look forward to more hopefully, brilliant casting. I thought I’d sit on the bed for a while and cool down as rather overheated and taken some paracetamol. Wishing you all a healthy year with many good things.
Oh Rosie. That doesn't sound too clever at all. At least you have taken some paracetamol which should help. Plenty of fluids taken on board as well to rehydrate yourself.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Quick reassessment of yesterday's plans - all on hold thanks to Marti. At least at the moment it isn't snow. When I drove home yesterday I got the frost warning alert on my dashboard so it could possibly be on the way.
MIGHT be a craft day or I MIGHT think about taking down some dekkies (note the word 'think'!) or I MIGHT just chill out and look at my new quiz book.

Good morning everyone . LB I might do some jobs in the house but craft work is on my agenda too .Perhaps I will do a bit of both .Rosie has a nasty bug . Her temperature has gone down a bit .
She is staying with us until she is feeling better .
Good morning all planning a lazy day with fiancé it seems forever since we spent time together so planning to laze around and watch a few films and finish off the festive food bits that are lingering.
Went for lunch yesterday with youngest daughter and Thomas which was lovely.
Dry here but rain forecast. I am starting to want to get into the garden. Not today though.
Ruby, I was so sorry to read yesterday that Rosie seems to have caught the nasty cold bug going around at the moment. Its good that she can stay at yours until she shakes it off. Does Alfie stop over too??
Debs, it will be nice to spend some quality time with your fiancé today so whatever you do I hope you have special moments just chilling out.
