    Good morning all,

just got back from church and had a warming cup of coffee to thaw out - it is so cold and icy out and slippy underfoot. We walked along the grass verge to the church door as the path was very icy in places. Going to a carol service at a different church this afternoon if the snow holds off, though the sky looks full of something, so we might not make it.

I like watching Poirot, too. I think all the cast are very good and David Suchet is an excellent Poirot.

Right, Iโ€™d better get on. Take care everyone.
  • That is really beautiful @Ante1ย
Have you put the candles in a bowl and decorated around them or are the candles on a candle advent ring holder. Looks lovely and very christmassy ๐Ÿ˜ย

Morning all. Thanks for the new thread and link back LB. You're a good 'un. ๐Ÿ‘
Busy, hope that lady has been duly seen, is ok and is now being cared for by the hospital or family/friends.
SGL, lovely to see you. Think we're all pretty much iced up now and bitterly cold. I do pity those who can't afford to put their heating on for long, they must be so cold. We've had to up the time ours is on now, we just can't sit in the cold, makes us feel poorly. Hope you and family are okay?
Ante, your table is looking lovely and festive now, Have a restful day.
Red a maple, enjoy the carol service this afternoon. You put me to shame, I used to go to the church services at Christmas time but haven't for many years now. We don't have our " type" of church nearby here, it's right at the other end of the town and is rarely open.ย
LB, steady away on the roads today, no accidents and if in doubt, stay put!
Ive fed and watered the birds this morning and I'm nithered now. Trying to warm up with a cuppa. We are popping to Ar**s in a bit as my Bobble Off machine broke last night.( ssshh LB๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚...naughty....)ย

Nice to see you SGL, and thank you. Please be careful when you go out on weather like this.

Red Maple, my opinion is that David Suchet is the best Poirot ever.

Tee hee Hazel ,popping in and out of shops is familiar. The more shops you pop into the slower you get ๐Ÿซค. ย (That is when you buy more than you intended ,which I often do .)
