Afternoon all. Had a super day at Bestie's. Her son and DIL stopped by to drop off Sofia for us to 'mind' when they went shopping. She is a lovely 5 year old and shows great artistic skills. I was quite amazed at her drawings. Hair all cut and sorted too and appointments made until August of next year.
Hey Biglad, I would write to headquarters and plead about the coupons. That is crazy!
Hazel, hope you got the shopping done and have enjoyed mooching round the GC. Did anything leap into your basket?
Well done Ruby for saving the spiderlings. Does your hall-robe back onto Narnia?

Ante, glad you've had a grand day, did you buy anything at the fair? Hope your mum and aunt enjoyed themselves too. LB, oh crumbs, don't want any rodents of any kind in the garden. May have to take it up if we start seeing anything.π¬
LB, I had a lovely meal at Thai restaurant, Pad Thai with shrimp and extra hot sauce. Mum says that it was lovely and interesting, but I think that my day was much better.Β Β
Hazel, of course that I bought few things at fair. π I also bought jumper for my dad as Christmas present, and finally found book which I wanted for some time. It always was sold out, but now I have it.Β
Only one thing I didn't like is huge crowd everywhere.Β
We didn't like the huge numbers of folks about either Ante. It was quite manic at times. Christmas jumper sounds lovely for your Dad and I'm so pleased you managed to get the long awaited and wished for book. Always great satisfaction when that happens.Β Im signing out for now. Have a good evening?Night all.
I have to go shopping tomorrow Ante and Hazel - just for food. I am going to St Michael's place and it opens at 06:00 so I think I will be making an early start and I may manage to avoid the crowds. π€π»
Ante, that meal sounds delicious. You had the perfect day didn't you? Getting that long wished for book and a Christmas present for your Dad.
Night Hazel.

LB, bet you had a wonderful time with Sophia. Like 23 , the skills of some 5 year olds is amazing/astonishing. She will have loved having all the one to one attention too...I know 23 doesπ€
SM was absolutely heaving this morning with lots of children running around and screaming and shouting, gawdπ© After dinner we made our weary way to the garden centre which, again, was full of kids visiting Santa. LB,lots dropped into our arms ( no baskets or trolleys available!) which cheered us up. We got some nice wee Christmas tree hanging decs, one with my mums name on it. She has a very old fashioned name which I have never, ever seen it anywhere before. ( I'm wondering if this is an omen?) Β I bought Β and it is now hanging on the tree. Mum will always be with us now. Got a lovely " rag pull toy" for sons pug dog for Xmas( 3 carrots on twisted rope ), a nice every green fern and some special soap in a tin for half price. So a very fruitful trip.
A little ground feeder tray was delivered today, it wasn't due until next week, so that's been filled with mealworms and ready for the birds.
I could do with a nice quiet wander round Narnia now......π§ββοΈπ§π§ββοΈπππΈ
I came home half an hour ago, and despite rain, I have extremely nice day. First I need rest a bit, then read back.Β
Hope you all had a nice day, and that LB is satisfied with new haircut.Β Β
