    Good morning everyone.

It's still snowing but not like yesterday. Forecast says that today will be better, but tomorrow another portion of wind and snow. I'm going to make tea, then must go to quick SM visit. It's near my house, so I don't need to use car.
I spent whole day yesterday reading and watching tv. It was too cold even to work in the garage.

Hope you are all warm, and wish you lovely Sunday.

Good morning all.. Happy Chinese New Year! Am I right in thinking it changes every year as Easter does?
Dig walk went well and I now have a bookcase and a purple finger where I hit it with a hammer!
I can block texts but it’s a shame as fiancé and I have known her for years and it is a shame she has taken him leaving so badly. I don’t like to fall out with people.
Cold here but dry. I need tea.

Good morning Debs, Yes, the Chinese New Year depends on the lunar calendar and can be any time between January and February depending on when the second new moon of the year occurs.
Ouch ouch your poor finger! Don't try placing your Mum's treasures on the new bookcase until you are sure that the bruising and aching has diminished - it would be all too easy to nudge something and knock it over.
Its a bit of a quandary with your fiancé's ex employer but surely she must realise that, for his own well being, it was a move that had to be made.

  • Good morning Ante, LB and Debs.  Ante a rather frosty start here too.  LB I’ve had my first cup of tea and some porridge and catching up with the news.  Debs years ago I accidentally whacked my hand with a cleaver just before starting a new job.  Have a good day all.

Good morning Rosie. I have a suspicion that we all may have done something like that in the past but a cleaver sounds particularly scary. Did you actually cut yourself or was it just a glancing blow? I'm shivering just thinking about the 'what ifs'!
