Hello everyone.  I've noticed quite a few new names on here and wondered if they were new people or if some of our regulars have changed names?  As Debs said, cold and crisp in our neck of the woods this morning.  I've no plans for today so might do some sketching and pastel drawings.  Not my favourite medium but it's growing on me despite the dust it creates.  Not heard how Gabe is this morning I'm keeping my fingers crossed he really is on the mend.
Baking bread sounds like a lovely activity on a cold day Ante, hope it rises well.
Glad you managed to stay on your feet LB, can't afford a fall at the moment with the NHS in its current state.
    Stay safe and warm folks.

    Hello all,
I don't often pop into "Rezzers" but had to say that l can't believe it's 3 years since Joyce passed away. I was only thinking about her the other day, l came across a printout l'd made of the exercises that she posted about not long before she died.
    A lovely lady.

    Best wishes to all  :)

Morning all. Similar weather here @Songbird-2, with the added horror, fog. It keeps trying to lift but then rolls back in. Sending you a hug 🤗, too.
What a nuisance for your fiancé, @debs64. I hope you’ll be able to block her texts and emails.
I don’t think I’ll be venturing far today if this fog keeps trying to roll in.

    Morning all.

So sad about Joyce, she is missed. Upsetting thought that if any of us pass away we probably wouldn't know what happened.

@Yviestevie, Rosie (Bluebells in the Rain) had some bother with the site and it changed her name to a load of letters. Red Maple is fairly new.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Morning everyone, just popping in to say hi. Sorry haven't read back, just noticed a few comments on this page so hope everyone is well. But good to see you @Yviestevie
Goodness is it really three years already. Joyce was a lovely lady. I remember her post about exercises @AnniD
It's a very frosty chilly morning here too, but the sun is shining now and it makes it look so much better now. The frost on the shrubs and grass is sparkling like little diamonds.
Hope I haven't missed any birthdays while being AWOL, if I have, happy belated birthday wishes.
I haven't done much, can't get out in the garden as it's been such awful weather and it's like a bog outside. I'm looking after OH and only pop out briefly for a short walk weather permitting or a quick dash to the shops. Our gorgeous poppets make our day when they come to play.
Hope your OH is keeping well @Rubee
Take care everyone, especially in the snow if you have any. Enjoy your day.

Good afternoon all. SM dash went well this morning and I got everything that I wanted - this time I DID make a list and stick to it. Had a nice natter with the lovely lady on the check out - both of us bemoaning the fact that the gritters don't do down the side roads!
Debs, you have received some sound advice from people already as to how to deal with the nuisance lady. Report the emails as 'spam' to your provider and block her from contacting you. You'll be fine with the dog - don't forget your poo bags though!
Hazel it was -2°C when I went to 'sco and it is still Baltic. I put Lily's TV on as despite the cold the sun is shining and there is a nice breeze. Wet cloth things are dancing merrily!
Yvie, I have my fingers crossed for Gabriel too. You will have to post some pictures of your drawings/art work. I for one would love to see them.
Red maple - fog is such a horrible condition to deal with. It was like that here in the week but thank goodness it did not last long.
Lovely to see you Anni D and SGL. I'm not sure if you are all aware but I am in contact with Joyce's daughter, Sameena. She was telling me that Joyce's bungalow is on the market now and she has had to make room in her home for some of the furniture. The beautiful sideboard that Joyce loved is one item that she is saving.
SGL, my garden is like a bog too and until today I didn't even consider going out in it. I only did it yesterday to take some vegetable peelings down to my compost bin and of course to hang out the wet cloth things today and boy oh boy but it is too cold to be thinking about doing anything! I did spot some primroses flowering today.

I thought I would show you all my new fridge magnets. I could not resist them. The little haworthia has just finished flowering and the echeveria is just sending out a flower spike. I already had the plants and they won't be able to stay there forever but it is a way of displaying tiny treasures.

  • They're pretty @Ladybird4
I remember you saying you had stayed in touch with Sameena. I remember Joyce's sideboard too. Much too nice to not keep and very sentimental too. Will be sad to sell her mums home, but lots of happy memories to remember too.
  • Ante lovely pictures and I like to see Max.  LB it’s good you kept your balance.  It was frosty here again underfoot.  It’s good to remember Joyce and I can picture her in the photo she posted of herself in a lovely long dress, blessings to all.

Rosie, I can remember that photo of Joyce too. Bless her. And I remember that new curved sideboard too, she really liked that piece. I’m glad her daughter is keeping it.
SGL, lovely to see you, be careful whilst out walking in this weather. Our temperature is dropping again now, bitterly cold.
Nice to see you too Yvie and hope your painting is coming along nicely and that you soon get used to the new medium you’re working with.
Thanks to those who have sent hugs down the tunnel- Al has delivered than safe and sound. 🤗
LB, love those new magnets. Unique- not seen that type before.
    @AnniD, hope you’re keeping well.
