Oh dear Ruby. I do hope your knees are not too painful after that tumble. It is so easy to topple when you are 27! I do hope that you have been resting since that episode.

    Hi everyone,
I typed out my previous post this morning and thought I’d pressed send, but when I came back to the forum this afternoon, there it was, still waiting to go 😅. Better late than never, I suppose.
Hope your knees aren’t too sore after your tumble, @Rubee. A trip certainly shakes you up, doesn’t it?

Managed to get into town but, although two car parks were chocker block full, there was hardly any people to be seen in the actual town! Where were they all? Not in the shops....

It was bitterly cold but the ground was ok so we managed to get all what we needed and headed back home quickly to the warmth. I've had to get some ointment for my suddenly appearing dry, itchy skin and it's working nicely so far.

I hope your OH has got some new treatment Rubee and ouch to you for falling. It's easy done but  I hope you don't suffer too much tomorrow. You will have bruised your bones too so that may take a few more days to get back to normal.

    Biglad, 👍🤭

Sorry you fell @Rubee, I hope your knees aren't too sore.

I've done just about nothing today, too cold to be outside. The frost on the lawn hasn't melted.

Maybe I'll have a go with the hot flat thing while I watch The Pottery Throw Down.

    Afternoon all.

Rubbe, I'm sorry to read that you fell. Hope it doesn't hurt a lot. Try to rest this evening.

Hazel, nice that new ointment helps.

LB, hope you didn't went out on the snow.

Red Maple, it happened to my few times last week. And I was convinced that I pressed Post button.

What am I doing last hour? Well, I'm trying to dry myself and Max. We came from walk completely soaked. Rain is battering since yesterday evening, and last night we had hailstorm several time. Quite rough weather.

Evening all. Red maple as Ante said, we have all done that in the past. Don't you just laugh when you find it still lurking in your saved drafts?
Hazel, glad you got what you needed in town. Do you think it is an allergy rash that you have? I have never listened to Ken Bruce but that is a super long service and I hope he has interesting plans for his retirement.
Ante, did you get the 'doggy shower' when you and Max got home? That one where they shake themselves vigorously from head to tail, wetting everyone and everything within a 2 metre distance. I love it when they do that.

Good night LB. Max done doggy shower outside, but it wouldn't make any difference. It was impossible to get more soaked than we were.

LB, have no idea why skin is drying out.Don't think it's an allergy so will see how it goes on.
Ante, what a drenching you and Max have had. Horrible weather you're having, don't overdo it or you'll end up with a chill.
Son has popped in on way home after work. He's still wearing shorts, eek😬 23 is coming for a visit on Saturday but it's an early start at 8.00am( sister is playing footy and family are going to watch. But too cold for 23 to be hanging about outside), so we'll have to be up really early and ready to go.Plenty of new lego sets to keep him busy.
