Truly unacceptable @Busy-Lizzie. Time to start complaining big time. You have been so messed about, it’s unbelievable, especially as patients in other trusts have been getting their treatment with far fewer delays. As Punkdoc says, write to the Trust CEO. Contact the Patient Liason department as well.
Oh no @Busy-Lizzie! That is just appalling, is there somewhere else he can go for the op, can you insist that he is given another 'slot' elsewhere immediately even if it is not local? I'm so sorry for your poor OH, he must be getting so downcast as well as very frustrated with all these needless delays. G/daughter and partner eventually arrived after a nearly 10 hour journey (usually 4 to 5 hours) and life has been pretty manic since! Having myself a few hour's peace this evening as they have all gone out for a meal somewhere near Swansea and I'm happily dog sitting - and have been wading my way through a load of washing up (was told not to touch it on pain of death but too bad!!).
Morning all. It’s still very warm here, but a prediction of rain later 👏👏.
I’ve been re-reading some of my favourite author’s books. Kerry Greenwood.
She is an Australian author and my favourite series is about the Melbourne baker Corrina, and her lovely humour. I’m not as keen on her other heroine, but if bored, can cope with it. 🙄
Town day for us today for a little shopping. We seem to still have plenty of edibles left over from our Christmas visitors. We though they would get through more than they did.
He’s awake now, and as it’s dry we’re heading to the coast for the day … stretch our legs, get some fresh air and give the car a run out. See you later … 🚘

Good morning, dry start here too. After carefully trying to avoid the lurgi, I now have the same as my OH, sore throat, swollen glands, runny nose etc. Just as she is getting better I'm going down. Typical it would have been better if we had both been ill at the same time. 😡
still raining here. The ground is very wet now so no gardening for me.
My aunt died on Christmas Eve. She was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed by the whole extended family. She had been struggling for a while - since her husband died - and this wasn't unexpected. But it was sad news to get on Christmas Day. She was deeply religious and will, I think, have hoped to be reunited with her husband and with my Dad and their other brothers. That's five out of the seven siblings gone now.

Sounds like a good day there @Pat E 😊
Its 8C here and not raining. OH is at home today so a slower start … he’s still asleep 😴

Well, it has finally stopped raining, and the sky is blue, so if I can stop finding excuses, I might attempt some gardening.
