Sorry you are missing out @AuntyRach

We have had our first snow, and it is very nippy out.

We’ve just changed our sheets to light cotton ones. 😉. At least I m sleeping a bit better now that my system seems to be getting used to the new meds.
The weather seems to be having problems with cold or hot, so it’s a bit hard to adjust.

    sleep well all.

Ok my thyroid scan has been done and I’ll now await the specialist report to my Doctor. My tablet dose has been reduced, and I’ve more monitoring to go through.  Progress, I guess!

    Morning all,
It’s bitter outside and not a lot better inside at the moment. Still, the plumber will be here some time today, just hope it’s sooner rather than later. No snow or frost here just yet, but it’s forecast for later in the week, brr.
Hope you feel better today @Pat E and that your doctor adjusts your meds to suit you better.
Popping out shortly to meet some friends for coffee (and get warm) whilst OH, bless him, waits in for the plumber. We’ll swap shifts when I get back if he needs to go anywhere and the plumber still hasn’t been. The window they give covers all bases for them really, 8am to 6 pm, but they’ll ring us when they’re on the way.
I hope you all have a good day.
  • Morning everyone,  yesterday was so dull and damp,  it's a relief to see a bit of brightness in the sky this morning.  I  cope much better with cold if its bright 🌞  so hopefully if the forecast is right we get some sun.
    Keep well and warm everyone.

Morning all, another hard frost last night. We are also awaiting on the plumber, he has to finish the plumbing in our new extension and also clean our log burner and chimney. He is a chimney sweep as well as a plumber, our usual chimney sweep appears to have gone AWOL this year, so we will be glad of the heat, hope he turns up today!
    Keep warm everyone.
  • Fingers very crossed for the arrival of 'those who can' to attend to heating requirements.  In the meantime, the kettle's on here ... help yourselves to a warming cup of something ... ☕☕☕
