Thank you @didyw. So far, £750 has been raised, (I’ve just been notified), and there’s usually extra donations that come in afterwards, so that really is very good considering that although we seemed busy, it was more that the people who did come stayed and chatted and probably spent at each stall, so were very generous. In terms of actual numbers of people there, it wasn’t that many compared to how it once used to be. I hope your street market is busy tomorrow 🤞.
I hope it all goes well @didyw, you've certainly put a great deal of effort and organising into the event. Always tricky for me to eat out, always looking for good and bad everywhere, hard to switch off and just enjoy. Not sure about consulting though, giving my secrets away, don't want everyone to be as good as me and my restaurant.
Enjoy Strictly.

Good morning everyone. Thanks for all you lovely support. I’m planning on taking it easy again today. Very frustrating (like you were feeling yesterday DD) but I think I’ve got the message. My thyroid scan and follow up Dr appts are tomorrow, so I’ll see what comes from that. At least she tried to help me when I saw her last week.
We have a hot morning so far and even Pixel has moved back into the house from her lovely sunny veranda. 😁
It’s been very warm today. I sat inside sweating for ages before I cooled down. Looks as though summer might becoming after all. I’ve picked another heap of strawberries, watered all the pots behind the house, emptied Pixel’s litter tray, etc. etc.
Since all that, I’ve been sitting on the veranda in afternoon shade, colouring-in another page of one of Johanna Basford’s books. Very relaxing.
I’ve also started to pull some of our old books off the bookshelves instead of reading from my Kindle, and am really enjoying re-reading some of my old favourites. Anne McCaffrey and Anne Perry, for example.
Yes Dove. They’re not bad! I added a very small sprinkle of sugar (because I’m on the edge of diabetes), but it’s just enough to give the flavour a lift. 😁🤪
It's cold, it's grey, it's damp: it's Luxembourg! 😀 Had 4th jab yesterday morning, so far only arm ache. 🤞 OH got the Christmas boxes out, but somewhat can't be bothered. Yesterday OH sang in a local market and it was nice, but still no Christmas feel. Bah! Humbag! Bought some honey from school kids who keep hives near the school, they were really lovely trying their best English on me, I was quite moved. Enjoy the strawbs @Pat E and if you can send some sunshine over here. Best wishes for tomorrow.
Morning all, first frost of the winter here, it has taken me rather unaware after the cold and damp, but lovely to see the sun. Neighbour's cat has found the bird seed in the ground feeder which I leave uncovered for the collared doves etc the other two have cages over them. Those strawberries look very yummy Pat, enjoy!

those strawberries look fabulous @Pat E … a couple of spoonsful of those on our breakfast porridge would be just the ticket 😋
