Good evening all. I have had a great day today at Bestie's. We spent some time getting all the Christmas decorations out, then left her daughter to it whilst we went for some serious retail therapy. I got quite a few loose ends tidied up and got a bottle of malt whisky for my brother-in-law's birthday the weekend after next. What I want to know is, why do SM keep changing all their shelving around? It is most disconcerting. You go for the pet food and suddenly it has become the home baking aisle. Crazy.
Busy, good to hear that you have had your flu jab but yikes, I think I would have had to sit down with my head between my knees if I got a stamp bill like yours! Congratulations on getting some more of your new tulips planted.
Ante, I too am looking forward to the Gardeners World Winter Special tomorrow night but I think my friend from Crewe is stopping over so I'll record it as well - just in case! It is our Quizzers Christmas meal tomorrow lunch time.
Hazel, well done on the gardening today. I have been spurred on by my Bestie's daughter to get my decorations up as soon as possible. I'll bet that eagled eyed 23 will spot those new 'additions' very quickly. Small people are incredible at that sort of thing.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
I have had a very busy day .Took all my parcels to the Post Office . I was surprised that they were open .A lot of indoor jobs done . Courier brought a chest of drawers I ordered . Itβs to go in my spare room . Metal framed and large drawers for my crafting equipment. I have needed one for ages . I am signing out good night everyone. See you tomorrow.
Good morning all. Heavens above Ruby! You were awake earlier than early. I hope you have managed to get back to sleep again. It must be the excitement of your new crafting furniture!
I have got a gazillion bags of crafting stuff all over the house. I think I could do with some more storage - its just where do I put the storage???? Looking forward to the Quiz Christmas meal today. Lots to do before then so firstly - and most important of all - time for tea.

Ruby, I meant to say it was good to read you got all of your Christmas stuff posted off yesterday. I did hear on the Beeb this morning that sorting offices are stuffed full of parcels and there are signs that many cards etc. will not get to their destinations for Christmas. That could possibly be the usual media negativity!

Rubee, hope you are back to sleep. It's too early to wake up, even for me.
LB, have a nice time at Christmas lunch. I'll join you with tea.
This morning is slightly better. Still cold and grey, but wind is almost gone. I'll go to the cottage after school, and take Max for long walk. He will enjoy walking in the snow, as usual.Β
Morning Ante. First cup of tea - nectar of the Gods! Enjoy your walk with Max after school today. It must be such fun seeing him bouncing around, loving just being in the snow.

Have a nice and warm day, and see you all later.
We are going to lunch today with F who lives in our old village and used to open her garden with me.
While we are there I will go to the cemetary and tidy up 1st OH's grave.
