I enjoyed the walk this morning, although at one point it tipped with rain. Mostly sunny periods though. I have posted photos on the new Walk thread hereย https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1069742/world-wide-walks/p4

We've had a lovely visit from 23 , his sister and our son.23 loved his " prize" for winning his odd socks painting at school and duly ate it! Chocolate minion..... went for a look at grandpa's lego figures and spaceships and kept saying " isn't grandpa a good builder?", seems quite enamoured with these things.ย
Busy, glad you enjoyed your walk even though ย the rain came down. Brave lady......
@Red maple , your weather sounds like ours here but still too cold to go out.
Signing out for today. Night all. Have a pleasant evening.

    Good morning everyone.

Hazel, nice that you spent lovely time with 23.

Crisp and sunny morning. I came late yesterday from the cottage and went to bed quite early. Max had few nice hours on the snow, and it wasn't so bad for me either.ย
    Now is time for school.

Have a nice day and see you later.ย

Good morning everyone.Hazel ,so pleased that you had a good day with 23 .Ante I hope your school day goes well .I must get on with some jobs indoors . The garden requires some attention too but itโ€™s far too wet for gardening .

Morning all. No frost today but exceedingly cold. We have to do the SM run today so hopefully the weather will keep many customers away and it'll be a quick dash in, dash out.
Ante, hope school is alright today, any more fall of snow? Hope not. I am still waiting to see if any snowdrops pop through here this year, they seem to have disappeared. The crocus I spied the other day are coming through nicely now.
Rubee, far too cold to be outside, catch up on your indoor jobs. How are Oh's legs now? Still improving?

Hazel ,OHsย legs are a little better .I donโ€™t know if I mentioned it but he is back on his Lymphoedema stocking on one leg .His right leg is a little slower healing but we are expecting him to have the right lymphoedema stocking on in the next few days .He will always have to be careful with his legs . Not getting any scratches or bruises etc. I think I said in another post there isnโ€™t a cure for his condition . I am pleased to say it can with care be controlled. Thank you for asking .
I do hope TBird is ok . We havenโ€™t seen her for a while .ย

    Morning all.

So irritating, I was expecting a delivery this morning and followed it on their tracking map. It got to the local town 5 mins away then disappeared and then I had an email to say he couldn't find me. Don't think he even tried. First time a delivery has failed and it is a company that is run by the Post Office so he should have known. Didn't even try to ring me. Delivery was groceries from the UK to make up part of the Christmas hampers that I'll give my 4 children. Some things I can't bring back since Brexit, like Bovril and Oxo.

Rubee, yes I remember you telling us your OHs condition can only be controlled. I'm wondering if this colder weather has an impact? Or he heat within the home ? IS he as mobile as he can be in the house? I remember my dad having a really badly swollen leg( wasn't the condition your OH has though) and he was continually walking up and down the hallway, bless him. He had his leg up on a footstool, when sitting and applied ย E45 cream to his legs every day. ( massaging it effectively). It seemed to help a little. Fingers crossed Things stabilise for him.
Busy, what a nuisance particularly as you're waiting for them. Are they going to attempt another delivery soon?
Weve been to SM and then popped to the big Te**o, which is a few miles away from us, to get some things our little SM don't stock. Everywhere was nice and quiet. Just waiting for another SM delivery now and then we need to pop into town for a prescription. Busy day really but enjoyable to get out and about.ย

Hazel ,heat and cold do affect my OH .He does walk up and down in the house to keep his legs flexibleย
otherwise walking becomes more painful .I am hoping to get him out for a short walk when the weather is dry .You are having a busy day but as you say quite enjoyable .The weather is horrid here .

Gone very dark here now and the heavens have opened. Curtains all shut to keep the night out and settling in for the evening. OH is watching the footy. Wonder if @Bigladis finding the time to catch up on some CA snoozing and watching?!
Rubee, no joke is it, as we age and we get all these ailments? I want a new body for Christmas.........
