A very good morning to you all.
    10 Peanuts Gang Tuesday Quotes
Rain as usual. Another day for indoor activities. Hazel you are having a most unlucky time at the moment. Who would have thought that a new hot metal thing would fail to function? Fingers crossed all goes smoothly from now on.
I hope T'Bird and her OH haven't got lost in Germany and that Biglad hasn't sunk into the depths of the C.A.
p.s. I just realised what I said earlier Hazel!

Busy, I guess that the article about stamps is alluding to the numbers of older people who do not have any access to the internet or a printer to get their copy of the online form for returning old stamps.

    Morning all.

Yes, Hazel, that was sad news about Jonnie Irwin. I read about it last night when OH told me.

No daffodils popping up here yet but there are some young apples on the tree that had some blossom in September. They won't ripen now. That tree lost all its first blossom in a late frost.

I may get around to some decorating today, rain forecast. Still haven't finished my bedroom.

Morning Busy. It is very strange how the seasons seem all out of kilter this year. The reports of the 21Β°C temperature in Wales the other day is another example.

Morning Ruby. I think it will most definitely be a knitting day today. It is so dark here that I need lights on in my house. The wind is getting up too. I have to say respect to the meteorological office as their forecasts have been so correct the last few days.

Good morning all. Heavy rain and fiancΓ© has gone to the tip! What fun!Β
Good news at work yesterday. Our β€œsenior” who is very lazy and bossy and we all dislike is leaving after Christmas! She has been promoted because she constantly tells head office how marvellous she is and they are daft enough to believe her. Never mind it’s good news for all of us. It was difficult to look upset when she told me but she dislikes me anyway so no worriesΒ

Morning all. Rain here now , just waiting for the winds to arrive.
Debs, I worked Β for someone like that once, drove us mad. Good news for you though.
    LB, good pun there lol!Β
I had to laugh this morning as I spotted an unknown to us cat in the garden, just sat there, eating our ornamental grasses. OH went out very quietly but the cat remained chewing. OH flayed his arms and the cat, startled, ran down the path and up the fence but stopped halfway up. Just clung on there looking at OH. It made me laugh .....was this the latest I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here! challenge, to see how long you can cling on to the side of a fenceπŸ˜‚ ? It wasn't until OH had walked right down the path that the cat scarpered up and over the fence.Β
Also noticed in the news this morning, that a famous SM is calling its gingerbread man a gingerbread personπŸ˜©πŸ™„ Gawd......

    Afternoon all.

Hazel, Monday is thankfully behind me for this week. Hope you found new iron.

SGL, nice to see you around.

Debs, it will be lovely start of new year, without lazy boss.

Yesterday was an awful day, and today is slightly better. It's little bit warmer, but it's raining whole time. My deliveries didn't arrived, without any notification of course. After school yesterday I made a mistake, and started pickling radishes. I underestimated how much I have, and spent over four hours slicing and pickling. On the end I have twelve large jars. It will be nice Christmas present for some. I'll take one jar and pop to my neighbor. Don't worry, this one likes them.Β Β

Good afternoon everyone. Hazel, I smiled at your description of 'Spider Cat' - clinging half way up your fence until your OH shooed it away. I hope that your OH managed to get the necessary paving slabs etc for the new garden make over.
Debs, I can imagine there has been a real lifting of spirits at work with the forthcoming departure of the idle creature. I think we could all quote examples somewhat similar.
Ante, what a job! You will be glad that is over for the season - make a note in your diary to grow fewer next time. Well done! Lovely to have a neighbour who will appreciate your efforts though. Do you ever pickle the onions you grow. We might have to change your title from Champion Onion Grower to Champion Radish Grower!
