Morning all. Early riser this morning as have had a broken nights sleep. Will have a cuppa and try and get a couple more hours, this is too early for me to get up!

Crisp and bright morning. I also didn't have good sleep, but I usually get up around 5am, so no problem. I'll go to the cottage today, just to see how everything look after storm. At this moment I enjoy in lovely smell in my kitchen, bread is in the oven.

Awake early as big son just left for airport he has a week in fuerteventura with friends before he starts new job.
@Ladybird4 such sad news about Kitty though not unexpected. Would Jack consider adopting one of the older cats available in shelters? I know they struggle to find homes.
Off out later with my sister to a little local Christmas market. Should be fun and this year I am trying hard to shop locally and support small businesses.
Good morning Debs - you snuckered in there. At 92 I think Jack might find taking on another cat a little difficult - physically and emotionally. He can always get a cuddle with Jackie's two. Have a lovely time at the Christmas Market. Its getting near the time for all those starting up. I think the one in Manchester I like going to has begun.
p.s. Ante, you snuckered in as well. Yes, so very sad about Kitty. I do hope that Jack will get over this loss quickly. After 18 years of having Kitty with him - and his wife before dementia took her away - there will be a big hole in his daily routine.

LB, I just read about Jack's cat, and I'm so sorry. As debs mentioned, maybe Jack can consider to adopt another cat, after some time of course.
