I changed into my gardening jeans and it tipped with rain so no gardening today. We went out for a few boring bits and pieces, such as loo rolls and dishwasher tablets. Had a quiet afternoon, watched the Strictly Results and Escape to the Country.

Evening all. Had a busy day today popping out all over the place...including taking new iron back to store as it wasn't working properly. What are the odds?! Anyway, got a refund so will need to visit a different store tomorrow and try again. OH has taken up some more grass in the back garden this time, and he is making me a nice path right down the side of the washing line.So we will be going for more slabs and sand tomorrow too as well as a trip to the recycling site. Rosie, it nice to see you, how are your doing, and Alfie? I hope you're both keeping warm and keep on baking your nice breads, bet the kitchen smells wonderful.My OH was up in the night, around 4am ish and he said he heard lots of birds singing, like the dawn chorus.
