Hi LB. It's not yet over. I have at least the same amount on the field but I'll not pickle anymore. Next year I'll not buy large seed pack. I used to pickle onions, but nobody around me fancy them, so I stopped.
Busy day here for us too. Managed to get a new iron ( the one I wanted in first place) and we then popped to M and * as OH has been after a new jumper. The place was heaving and the queues were massive. OH found a jumper so we just had to wait but there was a lot of people returning items and they take ages to be dealt with. We were glad to get back out into the fresh air afterwards. Got some more slabs, too and sand, so when it dries up here OH will get on with that job. Must admit we were pretty tired after all our gallivanting. Its been a dreadful day here weather wise, rainy and cold and depressingly dark all day long. Can't wait for Spring.... Rubee, my hand has healed nicely thanks. It went throwing the peeling skin stage and the new skin is healing over well. Ante, what a haul you've had and such a lot of hard work for you. You definitely have the green fingers but, as you say, best not to sow so many next year😊
@Ante1 I adore pickled onions and j have to say pickled radishes sound delicious please send a large jar down the tunnel!
Busy and productive day back room now clear and we can start to sort out the “office” upstairs which is moving into back room so a bed can be put into the upstairs space for occasional visitors.
Raining most of the day but at least it’s still fairly mild so no snow on the horizon.
Good morning everyone . I have just been awakened by my three cats playing chase .They were running up and down the stairs ,then they ran over me when I was sleeping .Wide awake now having a cuppa .I hope you are all in the land of Nod .

Grey morning, and it's raining. Still warmish, but forecast for weekend says snow, not only in the hills. I'm not very happy about that. This morning I have little bit more time before school, so I'll pop to SM for groceries.

Debs, you have been a busy bee and there must be a feeling of satisfaction now you are managing to get your rooms sorted. You put me to shame as I have plans for a furniture shift round but the strength I once had seems to have diminished. Time to call in handy brother - or next door neighbour!

Good morning Ante and LB .Ante my cats love a run around during the night .But last night They were busy indeed .Kitchen mat was upside down, a tray was on the floor and somehow they had knocked several books from the bottom shelf of my bookcase on the landing . LB,sorry you had another disturbed night but good to know you think your cold is on its way out . Look after yourself ,keep warm .
I didn't get around to painting yesterday. Too much admin, too many phone calls. Trying to sort something with Orange, the French phone company. Why, when they are supposed to deal with communications you can't manage to get hold of them?
The bare root roses that I ordered from Meilland should be coming this morning.
It has tipped with rain but the sun is coming out. Hope I can plant the roses this afternoon. The ground is prepared.
