    Morning all.

I'm going to a gardening club meeting today. There will be a talk about tulips followed by a bring and share lunch. I'm bringing Coronation Chicken.

Please could I have your cake recipe too LB?

LB, thank you for the recipe, I'll certainly try to bake one this year. Believe me or not, I still water my front garden. Yesterday I removed huge pampas grass on the other position, and soil was dry. You mentioned species tulips day or two ago. I have them from previous years, but didn't plant them now. This year I have all hybrids.

Bussy, have a nice time at gardening club and lunch together. I wish that we have something similar here.ย ย

@Ante1 the gardening club is in France but it was started by English people here. The French aren't so interested in gardening. They grow vegetables more than flowers but I know one lovely French woman who has a beautiful English style flower garden.

Bussy, same situation is here. When you mention gardening in Croatia, it means growing veggies. Not too many people are interested in growing flowers.ย

Now is time to leave you, I can here school bell. See you all later.

    Morning everyone.
Ive been very sluggish this morning and on a go-slow. Have done some indoor jobs as outside is very damp, drizzly rain and cold.ย
I am waiting for two deliveries today, one parcel is for a new pair of trainers for OH and me, they were in a sale at half sale so a good bargain ( from one of our favourite shops, C*t*** Tr***rs). The other delivery is for two gutter down pipe guards as OH cleared the gutters along the garage yesterday and the one above the front door and they were full of helicopter seeds and leaves. Hopefully these guards will stop the dow pipe clogging up.( the garage one was full of the seeds).ย
Debs, , good to hear you're well on the mend now, Enjoy today.
Busy, enjoy the garden club, wish we had one round here, it would be very interesting.
LB, enjoy your day with bestie. Try your best today to put some order back into the world, will you please!? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚

    Afternoon all.

Hazel, hope deliveries arrived and you enjoy new trainers. Love your helicopter seeds description.

Weather changed and now is quite dark and cold. I lit furnace first time this autumn, just to keep temperature cozy. Every November is Book month here, and you can buy a lot of books at huge sale. I ordered two books, one is history book about old Rome and second one is CJ Sanson Tombland. It was quite expensive, but now at 50% off is affordable.ย  ย  ย  ย

Good afternoon all. Had a great day with Bestie - we went to the little retail park near her home as I wanted some ingredients to make some fudge for friends at C*******s.
Busy I hope that you had an interesting day at the gardening club.
Debs, Good to hear that you are feeling much better and that you managed to get out today. Hope you have a safe run home tomorrow.
Hazel I hope that your parcels have arrived safely. There were supposed to be a number of postal strikes this month and SGL had sent me a list of the dates which was most useful. Bestie and I tried hard but reckon its going to take a whole lot more of our meetings until the world shapes up.
Ante, I'll bet it is super sitting near your furnace and reading a good book. I had to Google your author as he is not known to me but it sounds interesting.
I called Jack on my return to ask after Kitty. She is still at home with him though they did not get to the Vet's today as Jack had forgotten his carers were coming round so it will now be tomorrow. He says that she is pretty much the same as yesterday. I will call him tomorrow when I get back from Canasta.
Ante and Busy I have sent the recipe via pm to you both.

LB, thank you for recipe. Jack and Kitty don't have luck last few day, hope tomorrow they will se vet.ย  I have all books written by CJ Sanson, and this is new one. As I said, it was quite expensive, but now is acceptable.

I saw most unusual news on tv. Black panther is spotted on border between Croatia and Slovenia, and government issued a warning for citizens of this area. I wonder what is next.

Oh my goodness Ante. These 'black panther' stories are not unknown here either. According to many reported sightings they are roaming free in the UK. I remain sceptical.ย
