    Morning all.

It will be sunny this weekend followed by over a week of rain, so I have a busy weekend, gardening. I was planning a new bed along the orchard fence and early this year I planted 4 yellow roses but I haven't made the bed yet. I have ordered more roses and some perennials and they should arrive during the rainy week, so I must get on with preparing the bed while the weather is good.

    Good morning all.
Busy, on a serious note, your new bed sounds lovely Make the most of the weather before the rains come and then you'll be able to plant all your new roses and perennials straight out when they get delivered. Mind you, it's hard work prepping a ( large) border for new plants.
Couldn't resist this little chap yesterday...

..he's a holder for coasters ( red felt circles behind him). I reckon 23 will be playing with him when he sees them. He's poorly at the moment and off school. Being sick alot and not keeping much liquid down.

Ha ha Hazelย  :D Thank you. Maybe one day I'll have a photo of it in flower.

Little chap is cute. Hope 23 is better soon.

    ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿคญ Busy.. thanks.

Had to pop out into town urgently as I wanted to use the hot flat metal thing this afternoon but my ir**ing bo*rd snapped in two when I put it up! The feet /foot part snapped away from the one on the main legs. We reckoned it was an original from when we first got married so it's lasted well. We've got a new one but it's a lot longer than my old one and barely goes in the cupboard under the stairs without some major jigging about . Wish I could get one like my old one- itโ€™s a pity I donโ€™t know a blacksmith!ย

    Good evening all.
Busy, were those the yellow roses that the deer enjoyed munching? I hope that you managed to get your planned tasks finished.
Hazel, I love your little Pingu coaster holder. I can just imagine 23's reactions when he sees it. I do hope that he gets over his sickness soon. Children are very resilient and soon bounce back don't they? Goodness me but your i*****g b***d has really stood the test of time. I hope that you can find a suitable storage space for your new one so it can be accessed easily.
Ante, did the day get any warmer for you? It wasn't cold here at all. Very odd temperatures for November. The weather was much better than the rugby I'm afraid to say.

    Good evening everyone.

Oh dear Hazel. Hope that hand doesn't hurt too much. You really don't have luck with this activity today, maybe you should leave it for next weekend.

LB, quite opposite. Now is awful outside. Wind and temperature drop, only 7 โ„ƒ. The weather is very moody this November.

I'm signing out for today. Hot tea, warm bed and movie for me this night.

I hope your hand isn't too sore, Hazel.

LB, yes the roses the deer ate, but they are growing new leaves and they haven't been back since CB mended the fence. This is one of the roses I have ordered, Astronomia.
