    Hi folks, just popped on to say I'm OK.Β  Things have been a bit difficult over the last few weeks.Β  Hubby isn't well and we have had a tough couple of weeks getting Secondborn moved into her new house.Β  Hopefully things will get a bit better now.Β  I'm in the process of turning the box room into a craft/art room.Β  I've ordered some new furniture and today I've done two coats of paint on the ceiling and given three walls a coat of paint.Β  Not sure if I'll have to do a second.Β  I'm also going to change the carpet for vinyl so that if (when) I spill any paint it will be easy to clean up.
    I haven't read back so I hope everyone is OK.Β Β

    Afternoon all.
    Busy, that is a very hard task indeed - respect to you for all that work and I'm sure that you will be rewarded with a wonderful show in the Spring.
    T'Bird, those pictures are absolutely beautiful. You were right describing them as 'chocolate box' earlier.
    Hazel, Brief Encounter was filmed at Carnforth railway station which is about 45 miles from me.
    Ante, I cannot believe it is 'Manic Monday' for you again - too soon! Glad that you managed to get more cuttings taken.
    Yvie, how lovely it is to see you. You have been missed. Sorry to hear that your OH is poorly. It is said that house moving is one of the most stressful things humans encounter and even though it wasn't you moving home it must have been quite an upheaval for secondborn. Love the sound of your arty/crafty room.
    I have been busy making my C*******s cakes today - it smells lovely in the kitchen. I had planned to do them tomorrow but as the weather was so horrid today I decided to make them a day earlier and it will be nice to wake up tomorrow with nothing on the agenda.
    I have spoken with Jack on the phone and it is heartbreaking to hear his sorrow as he tells me that Kitty is no better (have to say I didn't think she would be) and he and Jackie are going to take her to the Vet's tomorrow. I suspect a very hard and painful decision will have to be made.

    Good to see you @Yviestevie but I'm so sorry to hear about the tough times you've been having. Β I certainly hope your OH recovers soon and thatΒ your second born settles well into the new house. It is very stressful, moving, I can still remember how we felt and it was nearly four years ago now.Your new craft room sounds just the job for you with your painting. We've made our box room into a study and my OH has all his Art things in there. It's very cosy, we have the computer in there too plus mountains of other stuff!

    @Ante1, don't worry, I won't!πŸ‘

    LB, oh dear, not sounding good for Jacks little cat. I feel for him.

    Hello @Yviestevie. I'm glad you are OK, I was a bit worried about you. I hope hubby feels better soon and that Secondborn is happy in her new house.

    Good morning to all.

    Calm, sunny, but very cold morning. I'm set to go to the school. Few more minutes and I'm on the way. This afternoon I might go to the cottage. I have loads radishes to harvest.

    LB, a year ago, you sent me recipe for pickle radishes but I can't find it now. If you can post few links with recipes, because I want try it again. If anyone else have some tip it's more than welcome.

    Have a nice day and see you later.
