Morning all 😀. We got back from Athens very late last night.  Had a wonderful holiday - definitely one to repeat next September (with variations on the theme …….so many islands to choose from).  Wandering round Athens was great - second time round it was much easier to take it all in.  Such a fascinating history.

Citizens Advice today, Garden volunteering tomorrow- the holiday washing will have to wait til the weekend.

Sorry to hear that there is yet more waiting for OH @Busy-Lizzie, but good that you can make a few plans, and great that you will be able to spend Christmas together in France,

day off today  :) It's our silver wedding anniversary so we thought we'd actually spend the day with each other rather than just in the vicinity of one another. Heading to the beach for a long, wet and windy walk. We may go a bit mad and have fish and chips while we're there  :o

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
A but wet and windy here too today … but we’ve plans to visit a
friend’s exhibition just a couple of streets from here … so a bacon bap and a  coffee will set us up for the day …

  • Morning everyone,  well it seems it's full holiday season for all forkers at the moment.  We are off to France tomorrow we will be on the Rhone this time from Lyon to Avignon.  Travelling on Eurostar and TGV to get there.  Struggling to work out what the weather will be doing,  I think it will be warmer than here , it seems to vary depending on where you look.

Update. Hubby has now tested positive for Covid. No surprise there I guess.

    Keep well all.

Sorry to here that, @Pat E, please both stay safe.

Well the builders turned up, we made them a cup of coffee, then they decided the weather was too bad, so they have left.

If the coffee was good they’ll probably be back @punkdoc … but if it was Maxwell House instant you might never see them again 😉
But wet roofs are dangerous places, particularly if it’s windy, so they probably made a very wise decision.
