Afternoon all, I'm home all alone and enjoying it! OH left early for a day out so I had a nice lie-in and then coffee in bed. Eventually went out and dug up a huge pulmonaria, two large carex and lots of weeds. I've put the plants out on the drive for people to help themselves. Just had a late lunch and contemplating another weeding session.

Don't like the sight of snow @Pat E, please don't send any over to us.

Glad you enjoyed the Harvest supper @Busy-Lizzie. I love Pavlova.

That's a nuisance @Punkdoc, maybe he's just trying it on.

    Hi all
Today I have to cheer Moira up, she has been really badly affected by ex NDNs latest antics. Sadly I can’t take her out somewhere, as we still have the builders here.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
it’s raining on a washing line of jeans and socks 🙄 … they’ll have to have another spin … then they can dry in the sunshine we’ve been promised for this afternoon 🧺
Im not an expert in court procedure @punkdoc … but my thought is that if the judge agreed that NDN had been illegally tapping into your gas supply, then even though you lost the case because, in the judge’s opinion your loss your loss couldn’t be quantified, then NDN is still on a very sticky wicket as he’ll be drawing attention to his illegal activities.   But I do understand why it’s getting to Moira … sending her hugs and scratching my head for cheering ideas …

This morning I have a meeting with my pension chap to fill in forms … he does serve very good coffee ☕️

Yesterday I prepped an oxtail stew and put it in the Crockpot ‘dish’ and it sat in the fridge overnight, so today all I have to do is put the dish into the Crockpot and switch it on and it’ll chunter slowly all day  … I’ll add some herby dumplings this afternoon and supper will be cooked. Tomorrow the second half will just need heating up and I’ll cook some Potatoes Boulangere-style in the Crockpot and that’ll be another great meal cooked without using the oven (and hardly using the hob either). 👍

Ooh, oxtail stew, one of my favourites, I can still remember one I had on a holiday in The Spanish mountains, half a lifetime ago.

Morning folks. What a glorious weekend, 17c, long doggy walks to Friston Forest. Yesterday took the grandkids,it was shorts and t-shirts. When we ran them home at 7, there was the most amazing full red moon, just above one of the bungalows in the next road. Was going to pick your brains Punkdoc, (how horrible that your EX NDN are still causing you problems, have had many years of them sadly, so love to you and Maura) It's regarding the late HM Queen, her death certificate, I have only seen my late parents ones. Hers read death by old age (in case you haven't seen the news) some folk are saying it's perfectly plausable others saying it is NOT a medical diagnosis. Before I get told (by anyone) it's none of my business, it's in the public domain. Raining today, was a balmy (or barmy!!) 15c overight. Thankfully, I did all the washing at the weekend, won't be much solar today.

Morning @Hostafan1 … good to see you … hope you’ve recovered from your holiday … you probably didn’t bring back  anything like as much laundry as us 😉

Listening to the sound of tiles sliding off the roof at the moment, slightly terrifying. The roofers are here.
