Good morning all 😊 ☕️ just waking from a vivid dream about trying to stop a boxing match from taking place between a nice lady OT I know and a huge chap with no hands but big prosthetic boxing gloves. The police said it wasn’t against the law. I thought it should be. I was having the discussion with the policemen in a very good but totally overcrowded restaurant. I’m on my second coffee but the dream is still very real. 🥴
Good luck with the radio interview @didyw 😎 I used to hate doing those, but I think I’d be better now. My thyroid problem hadn’t been diagnosed back when I was doing that sort of thing and I lived for several years in a sort of fog.
Im heading for the farm shop today instead of tomorrow as I have to be in tomorrow for a parcel collection.
I’d better have another coffee …

Sorry to hear you’re feeling awful @Pat E - a few more quiet days and hopefully you’ll be on the mend. The headaches are the worst - I found sleeping was the best medicine.
Volunteer gardening in the rain today - hoping for a glasshouse job 🤞🏻
Mr C’s pre op was yesterday and all well - so we are all set for Monday.
Oh poor you @Pat E … as @chicky says, just rest … it’ll pass … take the pills and keep hydrated and sleep all you can. Sending healing vibes your way. 🤗

It has rained in the night and it looks a bit grey out there. I hope it brightens up. Now that my back is better I want to move some hellebores to a shady spot to make room in the long border for brighter plants. They are very dull hellebores.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hi everyone, we are on the TGV heading for Paris and Eurostar. Not been able to post recently as phone kept showing Internet offline despite supposed connection being on. Hopefully no repeat of our delays coming out. Will catch up later when home.
Beautiful sunny day here. Builders have gone, they were a great bunch, said we were the best customers they had been to this year, think that might have been due to the number of cups of coffee and tea that Moira made them. Just hoping that the house might now be waterproof and we can start getting rid of the fungi growing upstairs, and who knows, maybe get some decorating done.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I am feeling very virtuous ... the 'holiday ironing' has been completed 😇 I used to 'quite enjoy' ironing, back in the day ... a chance to stand still and think ... now I have more time to think ironing doesn't hold many attractions for me ... so I don't do it very often. 🤣

You sound so much brighter @punkdoc - the builders have got you going again! Good luck with sorting out the fungi and, yes, get some decorating done! Strike while the iron is hot! Sorry you are still having headaches @Pat E. Don't fight it, give in and wait for it to pass. @D0rdogne_Damsel - was wondering how you were. You obviously got back OK. Glad Charlie is doing well. We will sit and watch in awe as you crank up for Christmas! I wonder if your dream was something to do with the little spat on here between a couple of regular contributors @Dovefromabove?
@didyw ... I think it was more to do with a phone call from my ex who has never stopped trying to make our son into the one he wanted rather than the one he got .... 🙄

That sounds very positive @punkdoc
