Hagrid gone! That is a shock. Tutti frutti was a favourite must see back in the 80's. Continental friends were surprised by our enthusiasm for that show until we discovered that it was called the same name as an Italian "quiz" show where getting a wrong question meant one of the "hostesses" had to strip.

I remember that too. I think Eddi Reader from fairground attraction was in it too
Very sad about Robbie Coltrane - loved him in so many things, but as a mother of noughties children, his Hagrid will never be forgotten.
Easy to get NHS dentist appointments here @didyw …. Same for NHS doctor appointments. Didn’t realise how lucky we were til I read posts on here. Anyway, said NHS dentist patched me up good and proper - hopefully this repair lasts a bit longer.
Politikal shenanigans seem to have made our MP chancellor- seems like only yesterday that he was opening our school summer fete. I served him a burger 🍔. Feels like the Chancellor position is probably a poisoned chalice …. however I wish him all the best - he was genuinely very helpful when we were trying to repatriate littlest Chicklet in the height of the pandemic. He even emailed a fortnight later to check that we had got her home.
Tomorrow is our 28th wedding anniversary- just booked a table in town to celebrate in style 💃
Shame about Robbie, I was a great fan of Cracker and thought him a very talented man.
Happy to have Charlie home, and a super meal last night. We watched the chefs (6 of them in a line) preparing the food from the table, they were extremely intense and very serious about it and the food was both pretty and extremely tasty. This was my G&T with Passion Fruit and a little 'taster'.
Lovely to chat with Charlie, he's had a super week, including a chance to do some 'home study' at Amelie's house, not entirely sure why they needed to go to her house, what is wrong with the library???
Autumn Fayre down in the gardens below us today, mostly apples and chestnuts for sale, I am donating cupcakes as a prize for the best Apple Pie made in a kids competition, and will certainly be making an Apple Pie or two for the Tearoom plus a delicious Apple and Carrot cake. I just hope it stops raining, been an awful drizzly week.
Have a good week-end all.

So funny, he was constantly checking his appearance in all the shop windows and mirrors we happened to walk past, never been interested in his appearance for 15 years, hilarious.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
