    Good morning all,

Happy Anniversary @Pat E, 50 years, how nice to have a lifetime of memories to share together.

I am stuck doing paperwork at the moment, a lot of shuffling of it yesterday, I am telling myself that if it's at least in a tidy and orderly fashion then that's some progress.  :/ I have to get around to scanning every single receipt today, the big invoices are ok, it's all the silly little ones and/or the long thin ones that don't fit in the scanner..... hateful and boring job, I'm just not good at sitting still. :(

I did go to my first ever Keep Fit Boxing class last night though, so maybe sitting still will be the best thing today. I enjoyed it, co-ordination is very important, not my best attribute, but I certainly felt I had done a work out at the end. They also made us do quite a long stretch out session and lie down and relax for 10 minutes at the end. Nice as that was it was nearly 8:30pm by then and my tummy was rumbling wanting dinner, not exactly relaxing, for me or everyone else.  :o:lol:

Regards the 'news' @Hostafan1, I can tell you it's hugely embarrassing to be British in France at the moment, my customers keep asking me what on earth is going on? Shameful really, and has been since Boris....anyway, best not say anymore.

Must get on, I have promised myself I won't put the bulbs in until the paperwork is clear, a bit of an incentive, and the way things are going it will be November by then so the dilemma with the tulip bulbs will be resolved for me.

Have a good day all, catch up later.

I’ve still got daffodil bulbs to plant!  I usually have them in by now, but the very hard dry soil, a later holiday and then this slightly jiggered neck has put things back a bit. OH says he’ll help me in a few days time.
Today we’re expecting a visit from niece … she’s coming up from Portsmouth to go with her friend who’s at the UEA to see a band they both like. She’s not sure of her timings tho … we’ve said we’ll expect her when we see her … there’s always a bed and board here for her. 😊
I’m making a pot of split pea and ham soup for supper, and baking a loaf of wholemeal bread … we won’t starve. If her vegetarian friend comes too I can whip up a quick lentil and tomato soup … or even a tin of Heinz finest. 😉

I’ve got to laugh. Hubby dragged up an old photo of us from the 70s. We don’t look like this nowadays. 🙄😁

Congrats, Pat E and hubby! We also had a quiet 50th last year in lockdown, I’ll have a glass of something on your behalf!
Might do a test today, and see if I’m still registering positive. Getting boring being in one half of the house on my own. Still a rough throat, but that might be caused by shouting down the corridor to OH, when I get fed up emailing him, or using the walker talkie!

    Thanks Chicky. 😁

DD, you’re right about the memories. Some are sad but mostly good ones.

We lost everything including our house in Cyclone Tracy (Darwin) in (1974), then death of both sets of parents and later our eldest daughter 13 years ago. Still we are still moving along and lots of happy memories as we go.
    😂
