I have broken a tooth today, and my dentist [ private, couldn't get an NHS one ] can't fit me in for 2 weeks. I can't believe how bad things are becoming.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

There are people in East Anglia who have been unable to see a dentist for years!

Lovely visit from niece this afternoon … she’s growing into a very special young woman. So proud of her. 😁

I know there’s a Gardener’s World thread, but in case you don’t read it (or a TV guide), GW is on TONIGHT at 9pm.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
A misty morning here in Norfolk … apparently we can expect thunderstorms around midday. I wonder if they herald a change in the weather ..,?

    Good morning all.

Dreary weather down here in sunny South of France.  Humid, damp and sad!  Just spent a week in Switzerland in a town near Geneva - beautiful sunny weather!  Perfect for walking dogs in forests and through fields of beetroot!

Leaves and olives to try and sweep up despite the damp tiles.  Will do my best!!  I have returned armed with a supply of books to read, so I don't think I will get much done outside!

Perhaps a visit to the SM.  I think I will make some shortbread.  1. for the smell when it's cooking and 2. nice with a cuppa and a book as this weather gives me the munchies!

Enjoy your day wherever you are and this expression is quite pertaining......:

A la Saint Ursule, le temps, parfois est un petit printemps.    How true for today.  It's about 20°C now and an expected high of 24°C.  In fact, it's warmer outside, than inside.

Good morning from Luxembourg where the weather is damp and too warm for the season. We had thunderstorms in the night. Nothing planned for the day, will get down to do some more clearing old stuff.
Have all a very good day.

Slept straight through till 7am! No cough this morning and actually feeling back to normal. I’ll do another covid test this afternoon, will be so pleased if I’m definitely recovered.
We are forecast a thunderstorm late morning, and it’s just started to rain heavily here. Plenty of leaves to sweep up when I can get back out to the garden. There are some gorgeous autumn colours now, but my cheerful fuchsia ( Morning News) is still flowering.
