Bdooly ‘eck! @Allotment Boy … you need something stronger than just the Arnica 🥃

O ‘eck @Allotment Boy -impressive! I’m not an A&E nurse but that bruise looks pretty major.  You said the swelling was better though so that’s good.

Hello all, I'm late here today.
Hello @Red maple, welcome, don't think I've met you before.

We had coffee with friends this morning and I spent most of the afternoon chatting on the phone with family and friends.

Has rained most of the day and now there is thunder and lightning.

Does it hurt when you put weight or walk on that leg @Allotment Boy? Horrible looking bruises!

Just had a nice phone chat with daughter, she's not been doing much apparently and is having to work today.

Sunday roast is smelling lovely! Better go and do the veggies.

OOH yes @Busy-Lizzie … that is a noisy storm out there ⛈

  • @Lizzie27 not really, it's very tender to the touch especially where the broken skin is. My  foot was in a workboot so not really hurt at all, I think the bruising round my heel has just, moved down from above,  maybe I should have kept it elevated more.

Hello @Busy-Lizzie. I post very occasionally on here, but most of my posts have been in the plants section. I was browsing this thread and thought it seemed a nice, friendly place to post general bits and bobs  :).
That’s an impressive bruise coming out @Allotment Boy. I hope it’s becoming less painful as the bruising develops. I whacked my head yesterday with the green wheelie bin (for garden waste)  -don’t ask  :D:D - I’m not sure how I did it, but I ended up in a heap on the ground with the bin upended!! All I know is it feels rather tender, and it made my eyes water when I did it yesterday, but I’ve no bruising anywhere like yours. We do some daft things sometimes when we’re gardening, don’t we?

Hello @Red maple and welcome 😊 … as you say, this is a good place to chat about this and that … hope the bumps are getting better … at least you didn’t end up under or in the bin!

     :D  :D Very true!
  • Evening all,

I was very cross this morning because I wrote a lengthy post saying hello and happy birthday to everyone and then it disappeared!
