Thank for your kind wishes everyone. Son is home and feeling much more human than last time. This was a much shorter op (last time was 6 hours and two surgeons) and the outlook is said to be promising.
Night night all. Sleep tight 😴

Love and blessings to all who need them❤️. Thought this might cheer you up
You know I've had problems attempting to get an appointment with GP, well, not quite that, but I sent in a repeat escript last week. I had a lot of phone calls last week from "Microsoft" informing me my pc, laptop had multiple viruses. I replied that I don't have either, the man asked what I have got, I replied "a Nokia" he asked what that was! Phone rang today,I'm ready for them,I say "good morning" big pause, just about to put the phone down, voice asks for me by name, I ask who's calling, turned out to be the surgery regarding the repeat script, told her I thought she was a scammer, she laughed!

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I slept quite well … accompanied for part of the night by the very hench house cat Leon. Son is still asleep, so I’m drinking my coffee and am about to tackle Artle and Wordle etc and have a read back on here.
Son asked me to thank you all for your kind wishes.
Have a good day folks 🌞

  • Morning @Dovefromabove and all to follow.

Glad it went well @Dovefromabove. :)

Our Friend is still here, last day today, she is adorable, but it's pretty full on entertaining her, I have an Indian Night on Friday for 50 and 25 Harry Potter Cupcakes to prepare for tomorrow evening for the local Centre Cultural, she goes on he train at 1 am tomorrow morning in Limoges, so it's all going to be a mad dash tomorrow once she leaves.  :o

@punkdoc and @Allotment Boy, hope your ails can be sorted soon, I think you both need to buck up and find professional help, not good to be suffering this long.

    Happy Holiday @Hostafan1B)

Hope the roses aren't too bad @Busy-Lizzie, absent gardening not easy.

Right, back to being hostess with the mostest. Good day all.

Woken by heavy rain at 6.30am. Freedom day, having served my ten days in solitary to protect OH! Seems to have worked, fingers crossed, and I have had a very comfortable sojourn in the guest quarters. Celebrated with a short drive to the seaside for 8 am, high tide and spectacular waves breaking over the promenade. Always good fun, and got plenty of bracing fresh air. Wore my mask in the car and we had the windows slightly open ( does seem like overkill, but no hardship, the rain had stopped!)
Will now be working on sharing out the cooking duties in the future, OH having proved himself quite adept if given sufficiently detailed instructions. ( me - the big spatulas are in the top drawer under the hob. OH - I didn’t know there was a drawer under the hob - surprising, given he was the one that fitted the kitchen! )

Hope son is feeling ok this morning, Dove.

Thanks folks … he woke earlier for a little while, said he felt surprisingly ok … had a drink and went back to sleep … I think he may just be waking again. 😊

Morning all.  Hope you feel better soon @Allotment Boy and @punkdoc.  Glad your son is OK @Dovefromabove - he is lucky to have his mum ministering to him.
How lovely to get out into the garden @Lizzie27.  Fingers crossed I'll be able to do the same next week.  So much to do out there!
I am dealing with a very anxious husband at the moment.  He has COPD and has been prescribed a new inhaler to try - Trelegy, which is fairly new on the scene.  The nurse said she would phone to check on him after a month to see how he is getting on with it, but when he picked it up the pharmacist said that was too long; they would phone after a week!  He has read all the side effects and they are horrendous.  My daughter advised him to read the side effects of the inhaler he is on now as of course all meds have horrific warnings and he has had no side effects from that.  So we took to the internet to see what other users have found.  50:50.  Some rushed to hospital, some getting a new lease of life.
He's about to try it now, so fingers crossed!
