ThanksĀ @AnnaB … Ā as his housemate is away I’ve stayed here as he’s not allowed to be on his own today.Ā
Ā Tomorrow he needs to be a couple of places for work so I’ll drive him around a bit before I go home, just to make sure he’s ok. They said tomorrow must be the first day he drives so better safe than sorry. I’ve done a lot of knitting šŸ˜‰Ā

All well on the inhaler front so far - he didn't drop dead, so that's good!
Glad you got an appointment @punkdoc.
Doc Martin's come on, so I'll say goodnight!

Glad he’s still in one piece @didyw  😃 … I’m tucked up in bed… hopefully OH is recording Doc M for me.Ā

Night night everyone … sleep tight. 😓

@didyw pharmacists offer anyone on new medication a review after a week it doesn’t mean there’s any cause for concern. It’s a government initiative to help the poor overworked GPs( excuse me while I try not to laugh) so that in itself shouldn’t worry you. Glad to hear it’s going well so far.Ā

    Morning all.

I wonder if you all know about the change of stamps? The old stamps are being changed in January for new ones with bar codes. The postman told OH and gave him a form to fill in and send off with our old stamps. We were sent new stamps in exchange. I couldn't use them for Chistmas cards as we'll be in France.

Friends are, hopefully, coming to dinner tonight. They were going to come on Tuesday but they weren't very well at the weekend.

Thanks for the stamp info @Busy-Lizzie - I was planning to use my stock at Christmas, but useful to know there’s an exchange scheme going too.

Going to wash the inside of my greenhouse today. Ā Did the outside on Tuesday, but need to move a ā€œfewā€ Pellies for a day in the elements so that I have a clear run at the inside. Ā Bit behind on the Archers so I will take them with me to keep me company.

    Hi all

Tooth out, very close to maxillary sinus, so need to be careful for a while, apparently.

Thanks for the reassurance on pharmacists checking up on new meds. @debs64.Ā  And for the stamp info @Busy-Lizzie - had no idea about this.Ā  All I'd read is that the King's head wouldn't appear just yet but now I think I've mixed that up with coins.Ā  This doesn't seem to have been very widely publicised.

Had blood test this morning and blood pressure taken - that's normal.Ā  I asked about grapefruit, having read that grapefruit is helpful in lowering blood pressure but not to eat it of on blood pressure meds. Nurse confirmed eating g.fruit not a good idea if on meds.Ā  Didn't know that either.

And soon I'm off to do a stewarding shift at a local exhibition. Then coffee with my daughter as it's half term.
