I’ve got to laugh. Hubby dragged up an old photo of us from the 70s. We don’t look like this nowadays. 🙄😁

Many congratulations! A wonderful achievement and I wish you many more years to come  :)

  • We've had a lot of rain this morning and plenty more to come in the next week so might need a boat at this rate  :D Looking forward to my covid booster and flu jabs and hoping minimal side effects otherwise will never get anything done in the garden. I still have a lot of planting to do as well as a general tidy. Probably missed the sowing now and will have to wait for the next one. The best thing is that I've still plenty of flowers which is amazing for me.

Afternoon all, the sun has just appeared thankfully after very heavy rain overnight and this morning. Very muddy underfoot on my usual walk.

    Congratulations @Pat E, that's a great milestone and Happy Birthday @floralies.

@AuntyRach, One of my hated chores is scrubbing the plastic bath mat every week. It's one with loads of sucker pads underneath which go mouldy very quickly, despite hanging it on the tiles to drain every day. Not sure if they are machine washable.

I'm not rejoicing, politics is a dirty business at the best of times and on a personal basis I feel sorry for Liz Truss in her public humiliation.

    Congratulations @Pat E

Hope you feel a bit brighter @punkdoc.

Everyone else OK? Did I miss anything momentous?

    Hello Forkers!

Internet has been intermittent since about 11am.

Happy 50th @Pat E  Love the photo!  I suppose you are in bed by now.
@floralies  A very Happy Birthday to you for today.  It's actually raining here although not cold but extremely damp so I lit a "light" fire - first of the year.  The wood is damp though.

Sorry to hear about your political news.  I wonder what will happen now because I don't think either party has a magic wand for a short term solution.  If it's any comfort to you, prices here in France have sky rocketed in the last 6 months - all prices.  Up.  Up.  Up.

Thanks for that Dove, I had a feeling that they are machine washable but can't find the details on mine.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Went out and bought nice curtain poles this afternoon after a good long chat with son. Fingers crossed @punkdoc that the judge looks favourably in your direction!
I see the politics news is moving at a great pace over there!
