Afternoon all, really foggy this morning after overnight rain but now warm and sunny.
Spent the morning in the garden, still weeding! Taking it easy now though as we've a SM delivery and parcel expected soon and Garden Club is tonight with a talk about snowdrops - and sales, so looking forward to that.
The chimney sweep rang back and we're booked in for early December, the earliest he can do, I thought he'd be very busy. Still waiting on the window cleaner though.

Glad you're back home DD, I thought we'd not heard from you since your day out in Cambridge.

@Didyw, good luck with the radio interview.

So sorry to hear you're still poorly @Pat E, do hope you feel better soon.

That’s good @punkdoc. They seem to be getting through us at a decent rate of knots.
Had mine just over a week ago - the ‘flu jab is next to be arranged.  :)

The interview went really well - good fun.
We have our flu and covid jabs booked in for the same time, in a couple of weeks.  Might be a case of stable door in the case of the flu jab though!

    Evening everyone.

Super busy week in work but I have a few days holiday now - lovely jubbly.

Been a very Autumnal week - mist, drizzle and the first “ice warning” ding from the car! The dark mornings are a shock to the system, particularly for a “non morning” person like me.

    Take care all.

Morning all, love to Pat,and everyone else ❤️. Went to bed at 11,still awake at 2am, went to sleep woken up at 4.30, by the dog in distress but we don't know why ... can't find "are you awake"!!! not really, taking my tea,and new book back to bed. If It was light,I'd go outside.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️

Hope you’re feeling better soon @Pat E  … take it easy.

NDN’s daughter and son in law are over from Australia and Mr NDN has Covid, so daughter is having to chat to her mum socially distanced in the front garden. Let’s hope he’s better before the have to go back 🤞

A grey morning … but there are some breaks in the cloud. OH starts back at work today … I’m going to drive him there and pick him up at 5 as he’s bringing a preserving pan home today … a bit cumbersome on a bike 🚲

  • Morning all,

Shame for NDNs @Dovefromaboveafter travelling all that way. :(

Hope you feel better today a bit @Pat E, not something that goes away quickly for some people.

My friend who I went on holiday with is having her hip replacement on Monday (sorry @Busy-Lizzie) so she is isolating too, won't leave the house now until hospital time, too risky to get Covid at this stage. My other friend had hers done on the 4th is doing really well, she was in so much pain and immediately felt better. The post op pain was manageable whereas the hip pain wasn't. Both of them will have had two new hips, so at least that's 4 operations off the waiting list. Fingers crossed for C @busy-lizzie.

Collecting Charlie later and we are going to have dinner in Limoges, he knows places I will like he says. :) Until then the dreaded paperwork. :(

Enjoy your break @auntyrach, good day to everyone else too. :)

Yay!  from today OH is eligble for the 50+ Covid Booster and I've booked him in online for Sat 22nd. All confirmed.  Very simple.
