A glorious day here, sunny, clear sky, and warmed up after a slightly chill morning. Went to see the baby donkeys, this one is between four and eight weeks old, and just gorgeous.

  • Hi everyone,  thanks for the good wishes. We had a good day in Baune, but had to be back on board by 13:30 to start back down the Saune towards Vienne. I  think we will still be sailing till early hours and lots of locks to go through so might not have the most restful night.
The was a great market in town but couldn't buy any lovely produce as we are still travelling for another 4 days.

Took this pic specially for @punkdoc, we went to a wine tasting in town I think he would have appreciated it.
The brown sign says route des Grand Crus. It was a tough assignment but we took one for the team 😛

We’ve woken to snow this morning. 😳. So much for spring.

These two Roos seem to be enjoying the moisture.

    Good morning all  😊 ☕️
There really is something about sleeping in your own bed isn’t there?  The one in the cottage is beautifully comfortable, but it’s not this one …
Brrr! That looks chilly @Pat E … you two stay warm … how are you both?

Morning Dove. We are both lacking energy, but otherwise just moving along.

The heater has been going all day.  We might have to get enough energy soon to collect more wood. 😴

    Hi all

Beautiful autumnal day here, but a frost last night. The Beech trees are just starting to turn that lovely buttery yellow and the large Acer is just starting to turn a vivid crimson.

Some of you will remember the court case we had against our ex NDN, we were mortified yesterday to receive a letter saying he is now taking legal action against us, for recovery of his costs. I believe he hasn't got any grounds for this, but more expense to find out and more upset. Hey ho.

    Hello all.

That's awful @punkdoc. I hope you win and he has to pay compensation.

We enjoyed the Harvest Supper last night. Loads of food, delicious quiches and salads, Pavlova for pud. I went for a good walk yesterday, gave me an appetite. We took extra wine to share but so did everyone else! Think I had more than usual.

Blue sky outside but a bit chilly. Shame the game the garden visiting season is just about over. I hope my back is OK to do a bit of gardening this afternoon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
