  • Morning all. Always seems to be 7 O'clock when I get up! this time of the year! Much earlier in summer. Fabulous day,not a cloud. I was wondering about Punkdoc, hope he's on the mend. Just had my first porridge of the year, hubby was moaning about our strawberry bed, that it wasn't very productive this year,he was thinking of doing away with it,well look what he picked, they went on the porridge! They are biguns!
  • Yes fingers crossed Punkdoc’s feeling a bit better by now
    @Nanny Beach 🤞 Those look
    tasty 😋

Hello everyone. I’ve been busy lately, so need to read back to catch up. We’ve been out getting more wood, so noticed some wildflowers.

    Cymbonotus preissianus.
Good luck pronouncing that one. We just call it Austral Bear’s ear.

Glad you like our golden displays Dove.  Everywhere we have been driving out the back had  bursts of yellow wherever we drove.

I’m trying not to worry out my daughter.  She has a suspicious lump in her brain which the doctors haven’t made a decision about yet. Could be MS, she has been told. Next appt not for a few more weeks.

If it’s not one thing to worry about, it’s something else.
Maybe it’s just part of getting old. 🤬😳😳

The hideous weather has arrived. Paint is being ripped off the walls.
Hugs to you all @Pat E and @punkdoc

    Morning all.

My post jab aches have gone so I started some garden jobs and now I’ve pulled a muscle in my back! Typical.

No point in saying try not to worry @Pat E as naturally you will be, but hopefully those signs of Spring and fresh air can distract you for some moments.

I hope things calm down @Hostafan1 so you can enjoy a bit more sun before home to Autumn skies.

    Have a pleasant Sunday all.

Morning all,  Congratulations @Hostafan1.  Another bundle of cuddles.
Hope they sort your daughter out @Pat E and that it's not too serious.  You never stop worrying about your children however old they get.
A bit dull and grey here, not sure if I'm in the mood to do more gardening will wait and see.  Could do with edging the lawns and sorting out the wisteria, it needs tying in.  Secondborn and the boys went to the Malvern Autumn Show yesterday.  They all had a great time.  Jonah was fascinated by everything, especially the Science tent.  He spent a long time with the organisers identifying pollen and looking at all the fungus etc growing in petri dishes.  Gabriel, on the other hand, loved the circus activities. They are just so different.  Mind you they both loved stroking giant tortoises, meerkats and found the giant vet fascinating.  Love the Spring show but never been to the Autumn one.
Have a great day everyone whatever you are up to.
