Luckily I managed to get all the washing out and in again today. It was a lovely day and Hubby and I spent some lovely time on the front veranda. So warm, compared to inside. It was minus 3 earlier I’m told.
Afternoon all, we also watched most of the TV coverage although we hadn't planned to, it was just so mesmerising. A very long day exhausting day for all concerned though, I don't know how they kept going. Just very glad that no disasters happened.
A fairly busy day again as I had to drive OH for his x-rays and 6 week check up with his consultant. Pleased to say he's been signed off all ok although his consultant has warned him he may well have to have his left hip replaced in a couple of years or so. After lunch more chaffeuring to take OH for his covid booster.
You and your OH must be so frustrated with your local hospital @Busy-Lizzie, it's appalling treatment and so different to ours. There was an extremely interesting article in the Daily Telegraph supplement yesterday if you can get hold of a copy (Pages 6 & 7, ,don't know how to post a link, sorry) all about how to get the best out of an over-stretched NHS, the steps you can take to get better treatment and how to complain if you don't.
Hope your daughters' difficulties have been relieved @Yviestevie.
Morning all. Went down to 8c overnight, but 18.6c in the bungalow, sun up, not a cloud. Have a good day everyone, whatever you are doing. Forecast 20c for later.
I’ve heard from @punkdoc that he’s unwell at the moment. Not Covid, but really quite poorly and he’s stuck in bed feeling grim.
As most of us know his health is compromised at the best of times; hopefully this is just a fluey bug and he’ll be back normal very soon 🤞 Get Well Soon Punkdoc 🤗

Get well soon @punkdoc and enjoy the sun @Hostafan1. Hope the knee recovers in time @Busy-Lizzie. I've booked my and OH covid seasonal jabs for Friday so hopefully mild /no reactions as with the last ones.
Morning everyone, we had our jabs yesterday. We went to local pharmacy again, no reason given but we queued for over an hour this time. Only mild ache arm so far. Get well soon @punkdoc.

The countdown has started! @Dovefromabove.
11C here at the moment … we had bright sunshine a little while ago but it’s overcast and very still here now.
