Good morning SGL and Ante. Hope your OH is comfortable after his physio SGL.
Ante, I think that you would be wise to go to the cottage to check on the plants after that huge drop in temperature the other day Only teasing Ante, not trying to be the little shoulder angel here!

  • Yes thank you @Ladybird4 a more gentle physio yesterday.
Did you see Gardeners World last night.  Gravetye Manor isn't that far from me, isn't it beautiful.   I loved the gentleman's Alley Garden too.

Good morning all. Gorgeous morning here just off to Buckinghamshire  for a wedding hoping for an easy day. Hope you all have a great Saturday

I did SGL! Wasn't it wonderful? I loved that man's philosophy - as seconded by Adam Frost - that there is always room for another plant! Loved the Gravetye gardens too.
Morning Debs. I hope that all runs smoothly at the wedding but your Fiancé seems to have everything off to a fine art. It must be fascinating 'attending' these weddings and dealing with all the different types of catering requested.

  • Morning @debs64 hope the weather stays warm and sunny for you today.  As LB says must be lovely catering for all the different tastes for peòples weddings. And people watching too, different styles of wedding gowns etc.

It's a beautiful place @Ladybird4 you can stay there too or eat in the restaurants.  Quite pricey though.

Gosh. SGL, I've taken a quick look and it certainly is pricey but oh how wonderful!

  • It is a very beautiful place LB, but  lots of pennies to stay or eat. Special treat prices 🙃

    Morning all.

Couldn't stop reading my book this morning so got up late. Been doing some admin, paid French Council Tax. Must go and hang up the washing before it's too late.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Morning @Busy-Lizzie sounds like the perfect Saturday morning, snuggled in bed engrossed in a good book.
I have wet things on the whirly thing too, hope they dry before the rain arrives 🤞
I've been taking down the solar lights and packed them away. One was quite fiddly to remove from the shrub, where the branches and leaves had grown 😂  Packed the solar fountain away too, bit earlier than normal, but it looks very autumnal today and the weather forecast for the week is a bit iffy.
Time for lunch soon and a cup of tea 🍵
