It's only 10 jobs at the moment @star gaze lily - I like to make it short enough to actually successfully tick all of them off during the day.

If only @Ladybird4, if only :D

Morning all. We've had rain again overnight, ( no thunder or lightening yet though) that must be three or four nights on the trot now. Due for showers today too. Hopes it's not like this on Thursday when we get the new fence done.
LB, bet you're looking forward to your holdiday soon, it's long overdue.
Debs, busy as usual, I'd be wanting a sit down somewhere in that day.....in a CA! Think my Oh's new armchair is getting to be one too.
Have a nice day everyone. We are up and early as have a 8am-1pm  slot for the BHF to come and take away old/newish chair.

I heard some rain in the night and it looks wet outside.

No plans for the day so far. I hope everyone has a good day.

    Afternoon everyone.

I didn't read back, so hope all are well. We have again summer temperatures, but from Thursday should be much better with rain. I was at cottage yesterday till late afternoon. Today after school I had small job at museum with one german group. They was very lovely elderly people. After all that I'm quite tired. Now is time for cup of tea and just rest.

    Evening all,

It's just gone awfully dark and very noisy outside. Bouncing down!

The Chase disappeared whilst we followed the progress of the new PM to finally deliver a speech which told us precisely nothing. Would far sooner have watched Bradley Walsh for an hour (I'd have learned more as well).

The PM's speech did tell us something @Biglad. She's going to cut taxes. That will help the rich and do nothing for the poor  :/

I've been for a walk. The sky is getting darker. There were loads of blackberries but they were rather small and hard.

  • Very dark and pouring with rain. A few rumbles of thunder, but no lightning yet.
