A very good morning one and all. Plenty of Marti here today @Biglad so I'm guessing you might be experiencing similar. I think serious gardening might be put on hold again.

Good morning all, got home mid afternoon yesterday house was in need of some serious cleaning so apologies to Col TT. Poured down all evening and still going strong today but the garden needs it so I wonβt complain.Β
Out for lunch with youngest daughter today so get to see Tom. I may harvest all the tomatoes and chillies from the greenhouse this morning and get that cleared out ready for the colder weather.Β
Good morning everyone .I donβt think I will be gardening today .LB I hope you were warm last night .The temperature here dropped very low .It has rained during the night and the ground is wet. Debs I hope you had a good journey home .So pleased that you had a good time in Yorkshire.
Morning everyone,Β Hope you're all well.Β Just wanted to pop in to say, I won't be posting for a little while. Have a few problems at home and need to concentrate on OH.Β Hope to 'see' you all very soon. Take care everyone x
Debs, glad that you had such a lovely holiday. Enjoy your lunch.
Ruby when I went to fill the feeders yesterday, my trousers were soaked from the knee down as I brushed passed my plants and it looks similar today though it is brightening up a bit now.
SGL, so sorry to hear that you have a few problems. You know where we are and it will be lovely to see you back here.

I'm sorry about your OH @star gaze lily. I hope the problems, health I imagine, can be resolved. I'll miss you. Hope you won't be away long.
I've been to the lab for blood tests. My new GP ordered them just before I left for Norfolk last time but I didn't have time. Can't remember when I last had blood tests, must be well over 10 years ago. Last GP never prescribed them and I hardly ever went to the surgery anyway. Slightly worried as it was the same for my sister and now she's on statins and is diabetic and has had to go on a diet. But she was always fatter than me.
Going to the SM after ringing OH.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Lily sorry to read that you have some problems . I do hope we will see you soon .Take care . Busy I hope your blood test results are ok .Try not to worry .
Hi all. Been feeding our front lawn this morning, it must be the first time in its existence that it's had one. It was looking very sad after scarifying it the other day.Β SGL,sorry to hear that you're having some problems. I sincerely hope things settle down soon and hope to see you again soon. Thoughts are with you. Take care. Very cold today, only 12 but the sun is shining. Biting wind too.
As well as the SM I went to the lovely Aladdin's cave shop in a nearby village where I bought my dishwasher. It starts off like a village shop with groceries and fruit and veg then goes back to cleaning stuff, paints and DIY then tools, electrical stuff, garden, home equipment, washing machines, fridges, ovens etc.
Did I mention that my washing machine broke down yesterday? Drum has detached. I looked at their washing machines. There was a Samsung that seemed a good value price. I asked the sales lady about it, she said she had the same model and she loved it and they could deliver it tomorrow morning if I would like it. So I bought it. At home I looked it up, has very good reviews.
I went to the little GC near the SM. Last year they didn't have bulbs in until well into October and then a very poor choice. Now they have lots. I bought a 4kg bag of mixed daffodils for 20β¬ and 3 bags of 10 bulbs of mixed mini daffodils which I'll plant along the donkey paddock fence.
The lab said they would send my blood test results via their website.

Busy, I felt the same as you in May when I had my first series of blood tests and was told my cholesterol and sugar levels were raised. When I was re-tested last month and after I altered my diet they were back to normal and they don't want to test me for another year now. I hope that is similar for my BP! I love the sound of your Aladdin's Cave shop. I love rooting around in places like that. Lots of lovely bulbs for you to get planted - weather permitting.
Hazel, your grass will enjoy its Autumn feed and the scarifying will have got rid of all the 'thatch'.
I am signing out for today - still waiting for my neighbour's to arrive home and pick up a rather large package I took in for them earlier. It is right in my way and very heavy.
See you all in the morning. Enjoy your evenings.
