Lovely dahlia @star gaze lily. I saw it on Garden Gallery and downloaded it onto my phone but it said it was the wrong format when I tried to edit it. Then I downloaded it onto the Laptop and the edit icon didn't appear but eventually I found that the Laptop said it was a photo from another computer so it was blocked and would put my laptop at risk if I unblocked it. I didn't dare. I only wanted to crop it a little as then it would turn out the right way up here.

I would really like to know what @Ladybird4 does to crop photos in that situation. Most photos work for me but sometimes they don't.

    Thank you @Busy-Lizzieย
I have no idea how to do it Busy.ย  But if you wanted to download it to keep, could you email it to yourself and then save it from there.ย

Gorgeous Dahlia I bought Cafe au Lait tubers they came up white. I think from other threads on here itโ€™s not uncommon with dahlias.ย
Uncle says he and his husband have not stopped smiling since they got Hobbes. He is certainly a handful but so adorable.ย

    Good evening everyone.

Just came home from walk with Max. We went little bit later because it was quite hot. I missed few posts yesterday and today, but will read back when I get time. Tomorrow will go to cottage after school.ย

It's time for dinner and cup of tea. Have a pleasant evening.

@star gaze lily, that's a lovely dahlia. I love these flowers but mine have done rubbish this year. Yours is lovely, well done.๐Ÿ‘

Good evening all. Debs, did they name Hobbes after the cartoon - Calvin and Hobbes?
Busy, Windows comes with its own photo editor and that is what I use. It is also easy to 'shrink' a picture you upload to the forum before you post it. If you want to know how - in case you aren't sure just ask and I'll tell you.
Ante, sorry to hear that you are still experiencing punishing heat - enjoy your read back and 'catch up'

@Ladybird4 yes because he too has tiger stripes although a different colour obviously.ย
I shrink my photos before uploading them it seems to work usually.ย
@Ante1 hope your weather improves soon I donโ€™t know how you cope it would be the death of me.ย

I agree Debs, that constant high temperature would see me off as well.

    Evening all.ย

Today we have driven down to Heidelberg - took seven and a half hours with a loo and lunch stop. It's got hotter and hotter as we've come south and was 32C when we arrived at about 5.30pm. The camp site we were planning to go to was full so we've come another couple of miles outside town.ย

Planning a day in town tomorrow and I really hope it's not as hot. It's a 5 mile cycle ride each way to town plus walking round streets. Not really my idea of fun in intense heat. Then we'll have to see where the weather takes us...

    Happy Birthday to Poppett SGL๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽˆ

Beautiful kitten Debs. I bet there's not much getting done in that house for the next few weeks. Lots of kitten play time in store!
