@Biglad, fingers are crossed. Yesterday I went up into my loft and decided there was no point whatsoever in keeping all the large cardboard boxes that had contained various kitchen electricals and I.T. equipment accumulated over the last decade so they were all thrown down onto the landing then carted outside where I broke them down and put them in the blue bin for the next collection day. I got a great deal of satisfaction from that job. Normally, had the boxes been just plain brown, I would have put them flat on the ground near my compost bins until they softened with the damp and then they would have been shredded and added to the compost, These boxes however were all very colourful so the council can compost/recycle them instead.

We enjoyed the tea party. The weather was warm and sunny so it was outside. Afterwards friends invited us back to their house for pre-supper drinks then supper. We had a sausage and a few chips each as no one was very hungry after the tea. Went home at 10. It was a good evening.

Good morning all, sunny day here after a misty start, I survived the weekend on my own in the house! Nasty hou****rk here this morning then hoping for lunch with fiancé who is en route from St Albans.
Picking the last of the sweet peas today I think for a small bunch for the bedroom. I adore the scent.

I'm finished with pets food and now I'm browsing thru fruit trees online. This fall I plan to plant around 20 new fruit trees.
