Good morning everyone . I woke up just before 3 and couldn’t get back to sleep . Came down for a cuppa .TBird thank you for the lovely pics .What a beautiful place .So pleased you are enjoying your holiday .LB good to read that you enjoyed your time with your sister and friends .Mind gone blank . I hope you are all fast asleep . I will go back to bed and try to get a few hours sleep.

Plumbers couldn’t find a leak so are talking about taking down part of the ceiling! What fun! They need to discuss it with landlords so nothing will happen quickly. They also didn’t have time to fit the carbon monoxide detector.
Work was ok not too hectic.
Early start and finish for me today then got sister and best friend here for tea. They are vegetarian but I have some vegetarian wellingtons fiancé made and it’s home made ice cream for dessert so not difficult.

Good morning Ruby (hope you are fast asleep now), Debs and all arriving later. Oh my goodness - hunt the problem could be a right messy job. Fingers crossed its nothing too serious. I don't get 'they didn't have time to fit the carbon monoxide detector'. Mine is just a hand sized free standing battery operated disc that I can carry around from room to room if I so wish. Off to see Bestie today and I've got a load of stuff to take to the Charity Shop.

I slept very well. Maybe because I spent 2 hours gardening yesterday. I also planted my new clematis at last, Purpurea Plenum Elegans.
We are off to a local GC, there are several around here, as OH likes to go somewhere because he isn't very mobile and he gets impatient sitting about at home every day. He loved going for long walks and visiting places before his hip got so bad. I like GCs and he can manage a short walk. We take his buggy if we visit a garden or the sea, but there must be a good promenade by the beach. We are going to an agricultural fair on Sunday. His hip replacement has been cancelled 5 times now. He's been waiting 3 years.
