    Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Brrr! ❄️ keep warm @Pat E ☕️ 🪵
Overcast here today 18C at the moment. The house is almost ready for the plumber … cupboards emptied etc and essential provisions (tea, coffee, milk and kettle, bread and ham) where we can get at it. We will survive … 🤣

@AnnaB memories! I used to love Kennard's Arcade, Allders and Grants. I would meet Mum at end of term in Grants for a lovely meal, I wonder if Surrey Street market is still there, I'm sure it must be. We used to go swimming at the old baths too!

I'm sure you'd be shocked to see Croydon now.
My daughter hates it here and can't wait to move back into London

I requested Daniel who's the chap who came first and diagnosed the problem ... he's great .. he doesn't usually cover our area (he's from near my old stomping ground down in Suffolk) but came here the first time as we were an emergency and we told Dyno Plumb how impressed we were with him and that we would like him to carry out the work and they agreed.  OH has screened off the areas in the house that won't be affected with sheets of polythene and masking tape so the dust from drilling through walls should be fairly well confined to those rooms ...

and Daniel has just phoned ... he'll be here in ten minutes ...
