Morning all. Ā Our news tv has reported on terrible weather problems in France and Italy. Ā I’m waiting to see a map. Ā Hope you’re all ok.

    Good morning all.

Europe has been hit with violent storms @Pat E due to the hot weather we've been having. Ā And, because the land is so dry, the water is just slipping off, although we are in much need of rain!!

Tidied up the garden this week. Ā Got rid of dead plants, sorted out the maze in the pumpkin patch, pulling out the plants that didn't have fruit and clipping the ends of the good ones. Ā I planted 6 Butternut and 6 Potimarron (the orange variety). Ā I have 5 pumpkins, each one is different! Ā Nature!! Ā Going to attack the canopy of grapevine branches today while the weather is still clement - apparently, the heat wave is back again next week.

That's all right @Busy-Lizzie Ā  Glad you made it finally to Norfolk safely. Ā How is your OH? Ā  Any good news in sight of his operation?

How are you faring @Hostafan1 ? Ā I hope you are coping with the paperwork.

I hope you all have an enjoyable day.

Lots on today … OH has a long day at work, while I’m heading south to visit @WonkyWomble and swap a woolly jumper and some GW mags for some plants.Ā

At the funeral yesterday my husband said he couldn't imagine there being many people around to come to his - all his friends are too far away or have their own health issues.Ā  I told him I would attend.
    Hugs to you @Hostafan1.
I really should get out there and pick the caterpillars that have now appeared on the sprouting broccoli.Ā  Those laughing cabbage whites that penetrated the netting have indeed done their worst.

I've got someone working in my garden today. First time I've ever let anyone "help".Ā
A bit nervous, but I have to let him get on with it.

Hello again folks … I’m home after spending time with @WonkyWomble … lovely to see her and her Lovely hub … and amazing to see how her garden is still thriving in the drought.Ā
Now I’m home … we’ve just had generous portions of homemade quiche for supper (made by Wonky of course) and OH is inspecting his new plants , with a big smile on his face. šŸ˜€Ā
