    Hello all.
We are at the hotel. I think there will be a lot of people tonight. I prefer small gatherings, unless I know everyone but I should know some of them.

We passed Great Comp garden so going to visit it tomorrow 😁 probably looking forward to that more!

We have a king size bed, good, but room feels hot.

    Evening folks.

Dodged a couple of showers and managed a few hours pottering in the garden. Repotted a few things, retired one of the sweet pea towers and moved two Heucheras from pots into the ground. Harvested some Lavender to have dry in vases. The cats seem to leave those alone, unlike any other plant or vase.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.

  • Evening all,

Finally sat down, watching a movie with Charlie, missed the first 50 minutes, but it's not really the movie that counts, nice to be next to him. Hope he doesn't mind the smell of fish and chips. 😅

Nice to get dressed up and go to a nice place occasionally @Busy-Lizzie. Enjoy.

@didyw, I don't know how you cope with all that paperwork.

A friend tried to help me today by baking a cake, I'm just so tied up in the kitchen, but sadly, her new puppy ate it whilst it was cooling on the rack. She was not happy, the puppy was though. 😅

Must get back to concentrating on the film, a fantasy thing, not my go to choice.

    Have a good evening all.

Oh dear … naughty pup 😂

Enjoy having your feet up and the good company @D0rdogne_Damsel … doesn’t matter which film it is 😆

Hello Forkers. We’ve been out the back again cutting firewood.
    not a bad load today.

Just noticed a smiley face on one bit that Hubby brought in.

Gotta do something to amuse myself while I wait for today’s episode of the Vuelta. 😳

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    Lol @Pat E 😃

Overcast and 15C this morning … OH is at home now for a few days and we’ll be getting ready for the plumber to come and reroute some pipe work on Tuesday … at least two kitchen cupboards to empty and half the kitchen to screen off against the dust … not to mention the front hallway and the downstairs loo …

    Good morning all.
    More rain overnight.
A day of preparation for not being here for a few days.  I'm very nervous about leaving the garden in August, but very much looking forward to a few days with No 1 Daughter and her family.
Hugs to everyone who needs, or just wants one.

Don’t worry about the garden @Hostafan1 … it’ll still be there when you get back … not even the weeds are growing much at the moment, and nothing is more important than you spending some real R&R time with your family ((hugs))

The weeds haven't stop growing here. Just enough rain to keep them rampant.

    Oh well @Hostafan1 … ignore them … that’s just attention-seeking behaviour 😉
