Love a before and after @Hostafan1 - the border looks gorgeous (both before and after).
And love a parade @tui34.  When my daughter lived in Malaga I visited her one Easter and the parades there were amazing - floats with something like 50 men lifting them with giant statues of Christ, the Madonna etc on them, and people in pointy hats with funereal music (and some a bit lively) all the while.  Incredible.
Glad you arrived safe and sound @Busy-Lizzie even if it was a faff. I'm sure you'll get that garden ship shape in no time!
We had a modicum of rain yesterday but nothing to write home about.
My friend's funeral today.  All went very well with a lovely reception afterwards in St. Peter's Hall, a lovely old manor house next to the world famous St. Peter's Brewery.  Nice to chat with some of her family who I hadn't met before.  The dynamism she brought to our little town was something she had always had it turns out.  Always putting others before herself, always running around getting stuff done.  And, occasionally, infuriating!

@Busy-Lizzie, I can let you have some mollis of yours doesn't survive... I've already got some divisions potted and @Dovefromabove is coming tomorrow, I can give them to her as she's closer to you... If you would like.

Sounds like a nice as possible send off @didyw we always learn something new about people through meeting different people in their lives... Gives them another dimension..... Another way of keeping their memory alive!

Sending love and hugs to Sunshine....aka @Hostafan1 x

    Had a fascinating afternoon

Hard to believe I’m in the heart of London.  Got to see behind the scenes in the tropical nursery, plus a tour of the main sights with a very friendly Garden Director.  Lots of stories and anecdotes.  And cake 🍰

So pleased your friend's funeral went off okay @Didyw - time to raise a glass perhaps?

I've been doing h/w today, we've got friends calling in tomorrow which always makes me feel a bit guilty. They run a B&B so their place is always spotlessly clean and tidy - I don't know how she does it.

I also had to take the car in early this morning. for a MOT and service and have just collected it. A very reasonable £300, two advisories but not urgent ones.

Glad you're safely home in Norfolk @Busy-Lizzie after a not very good journey by the sound of it.

We had a quick pass over the garden by these at 5pm on their way back from a display at Eastbourne.

Sorry @tui, of course you said Tuesday, which was the 16th.

I'm glad the funeral went well @didyw

Thank you @WonkyWomble, that's very kind of you. I'll have to let you know next year in case it pops up in the spring and there may be a chance that my other one has babies!

I had a lovely time in Waitrose. I hope OH didn't get too much of a shock when he paid the bill!

Glad you made it home safely @Busy-Lizzie, I'm sure your OH was pleased to see you again. Safe journey North @punkdoc - and South @Dovefromabove tomorrow, hope you dont find too many roads flooded. Love the pictures of your garden @Hostafan1, amazing the difference a few months can make. @didyw I'm sure your friend would have appreciated the gathering this morning of all her friends and family. Thinking of you.
Little Pip came home from the vets yesterday and has us all running around trying to keep her comfortable and happy. She, of course, is fine, sleeping a lot, but there is a medication schedule to be kept to plus regular trips (lifting her) to the garden for pees and the other dogs to keep under control so they dont do their usual 'pounce and play'. Off to the vets again tomorrow afternoon for the first of her check-ups.

Glad to hear Pip has you all doing summersaults to fulfill her every whim @AnnaB, your obviously a very well trained facilitator.....I would say owner but we all know that's not the truth!
