The little map shows me the rain is coming from our direction so if we get it, it will then come to you Dove.

Afternoon all, we've had rain, not a huge lot but raining on and off since before 8 am. Now  it's stopped and we've got sunshine. Beautifully fresh outside. I've had a very relaxing pedicure, sadly needed and am now sporting bright pink tootsies. OH was under strict instructions to stay in his chair till I got back and ignore the Amazon man if my new Easy reach pruner arrived - which it hasn't yet. Plan to try it out first on a very large bramble hanging well over the road outside, don't want to scratch the car paintwork on it.

Nahh, I'd rather have a Kit Kat please @punkdoc. Haven't had a Milky Way for yonks.
Good news you slept so well @Hostafan1, you've got at least a year's worth to catch up on.

    What a night @Dovefromabove

Just had a phone call from Wonky ... there are small splashes of water in her paddling pool.  We have some rumbles of thunder and a few small spits and spots of rain ... I've got the washing in and the thunder and 'rain' have stopped ... shall I put the washing out on the line again?

We have just had a few drops of rain but the sun is out again, NDN 's little Siamese cat is curled up in a chair on the terrace, she doesn't mind the thunder and lightning but can't abide the rain!

More rain!  Fortunately OH had just had his outdoor exercise around two sides of the house including some shallow steps and then tried walking a little way down the steepish drive and back. Can't quite manage one of the steeper steps yet or get out of the back door but he's getting there.

Back from looking after grandchildren. They were pretty good, just a bit noisy at lunch time. Baby was very good, he's nearly 15 months, a real cutie with big eyes and curly hair.

We were supposed to have rain today, but nothing yet. I would have liked it as it will save watering tonight before I go to Norfolk tomorrow.
