Low heavy cloud here and the air is thick with moisture … but no more rain … yet … 🤞

Same here @Dovefromabove, been on my quicheathon again, 3 made and still no more rain. I think we have had spots for a couple of hours but no actual wetness!!!

And due to the oven being in for 2 hours it's as hot as it ever was!!  Although I do think I may earn MIL brownie points when I deliver a salmon, smoked salmon, asparagus and brie quiche tomorrow! I made a salmon and asparagus one for myself as well and the other is mushroom and bacon and cheddar.....

Form an orderly queue.... Get there quickly, my MIL Gets very excited upon delivery and she has it for breakfast..... And she gets up at 4am...... She's old..... Not like you 27 year olds!!!!

Just read that Houghton Hall in Norfolk have had 17mm of rain in a very short period of time so hope you've also got some Dove.

We've had torrential rain here so the Amazon delivery driver decided not to run up the drive to the front door and left my parcel propped up by the back of the garage, where it got very, very soggy. Fortunately my pruners were bubble wrapped.

The weather was so bad they had to divert some landing flights from Bristol to Birmingham. There will probably be some rather unhappy people but better safe than sorry.

All I can say @Lizzie27  is that Houghton Hall have obviously had more than their fair share … par for the course 🙄

It does seem the rain storms are quite random.

Thinking of you @Hostafan1. I won’t be around tomorrow to offer you a cuppa but I know that many on here will do.

    Take care all.
